Samurai sushi is our weekday date night place. We love going here and it definitely has a great vibe. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. It’s a perfect food after Thursday soccer!
Me and my family have been here 2 times now. I absolutely love the sushi and the price is affordable. They even went as far as making my 1 yr old his own mini California rolls because he was having trouble eating the big ones. ( they did this on their own without me having to ask!!!) I will 100% be back and will recommend them to my friends and family. Wonderful job everyone!
Overall the food wasn't super impressive from other sushi bars I've been to, but the service and the chef Brian was great. Ordered a few sushi rolls and beer. Not a bad spot to stop by.
Got two combination bento boxes for around $37. The portions were extremely small, and the food was average at best. The spicy tuna rolls were basically all rice. It was not filling at all and I was still hungry afterwards.
Wow, it took us 15 years to find this excellent restaurant, but better late than never. The food is nothing less than excellent, and the service quite nice. I drove my 2021 AMG GLE63S, a rare model, and what do I see today, but another one, even the same color, parked at this restaurant. My wife had fresh sushi, and I had baked sushi, and we had a cucumber salad. We recently tried another sushi place in Mission Viejo, but this one is obviously superior. It is in a center with a bunch of vehicle repair and maintenance shops, a dry cleaners, a veterinary clinic, and a burger joint. the super-nice hostess told us about great specials they have Monday - Thursday, so we'll be back soon to try them.
Be careful people who ask for Doordash in this place, their tablet to accept orders does not work and consequently any order will take more than 20 minutes because the person will enter the items in the register.Waste of time and above all a bad experience for those who have to wait longer than they should.Be more serious about ordering online and don't play with people's time.Terrible customer service!
I called today to order sushi for pickup... they said they're busy...that I should go pick up in around 45 mins....I went there after 50 mins...after I paid, they asked me to wait outside for 5-10 mins....I waited more than 40 mins!!!! Each time I went to ask about my order, they said to wait just another 5-10 mins. Finally,I asked to talk to the manager, they very coldly said they can refund my money!!!! I had family waiting in the car all that time! Bad management and disrespectful of their customers!!! A simple apology would have sufficed. I live nearby and bought from them in the past. Now I will search for another place.
My wife and me went to Samurai Sushi last night (Sat.) for dinner around 6:00. Our first time there. To start with, the place was uncomfortably bright. We ordered two bottles of beer with two glasses. We poured the beer and started drinking it. The beer was hot and the glasses had this God awful smell in them. Like bleach or ammonia. The waiter came over and my wife asked for some extra ginger. He threw a attitude and stomped off. He brought her a tiny little plastic container with ginger in it along with our sushi. He never came back to our table after that. After we finished I had to stand up and wave to him across the room to come and check us out. Our sushi was room temperature and mushy. We drank very little beer. We ate half of our sushi. SUMMARY: THIS place way too bright, Beer was hot, Sushi was warm and some slimy, rice was awful, Beer Glasses were smelly and the service there stinks also. By the way the waiter had bleached and black hair, watch out for him. About two hours after getting home, both of us had discomfort in our stomachs. The next morning we both still had bad stomach aches with diarrhea. We will never return to this place and want to warn anyone going there, BEWARE!
Ordered on 9/24/21 through UberEats. Sushi Combo C. Was prepared nicely, excellent flavor and presentation. 10/10 would order delivery here again.
After two times ordering thru Doordash, I could not feel the freshness for sashimis and sushies.
