Takeout order on 4/30 at 8:45pm. Friendly staff, not a single diner in the restaurant when I arrived at 915 to pickup my food (they closed at 930pm) and were already cleaning up.Our order: salmon Nigiri, scallop nigiri, masago sushi, Julie scallop roll, volcano roll, tuna lover roll, Hawaiian rollPortion size was very weak for the price of the sushi. Probably some of the smallest cut rolls I’ve had in OC. The baked Lagastino/Scallop roll was extremely small, with only 7 pieces of roll vs the standard 8… strange. There was less than 1 bay scallop per piece on the entire roll. The scallop nigiri was quite disappointing as well. I thought I had ordered Hotate Igor only to get a bay scallop sushi with 4 small bay scallops on top of a ball of rice wrapped in nori. Same went for the masago sushi, with the rice filling up 90% of the nori wrapper and only a small dollop of masago on top. Very underwhelming all around.The volcano roll was quite good. The salmon nigiri was the best cut of fish out of our $90 order. The Tuna was poor quality.Overall I probably won’t be coming back here until the portion sizes and quality of fish improve.
Very respectable 'american' style sushi restaurant. Rolls were good.Nigiri fish was cut well but the rice was either off or different. Maybe underseasoned? The quality of the rice itself was fine but the flavor was off somehow.Will certainly go back if I'm in the area.
I have been a sushi lover all my life and Nori Sushi has had the best sushi in southern OC that I have tried so far.They have some delicious specials as well, I would definitely recommend the baked salmon! You will thank me later :)
My favorite sushi spot in the area. Their fried spinach on the roll is fantastic. Lovely staff, delicious food. Have been many times and will continue to go.
Used to love this place. But unfortunately due to short staff, they are unorganized when it comes to walk in customers and phone orders. I'm hoping everything will work out but am very disappointed.I don't recommend going unless you want to wait to sit down and wait to get your food.Best go in when they're empty
Always the freshest and best service. Great gamily atmosphere been going here since late 1990s under previous owners but Danny and Julie have done a fantastic job for years and have a great option for special rolls

A small but very good sushi place. Make sure to try out the Baja Yellowtail starter! Overall, I highly recommend it

Absolutely worth the stop! Delicious, fresh and creative menu choices. Staff/service was amazing and anticipated our needs. If you can have sushi this good on a MONDAY night, then you have found a gold mine. The dining room is warm and inviting with plenty of tables. While the sushi bar was closed do to covid we were still close enough to enjoy the view of the chefs doing their thing. The names of some of the rolls were hilarious and most importantly the food was incredible. My new favorite, local sushi spot for sure. P.s. thanks to the chefs for making my special request! 5-star service!!!!
