Environmentally, I have to rate my experience a 1. Please use reusable silverware or other biodegradable materials for all one-time use products. It breaks my heart to return a napkin and cutlery that I did not want only to be told that it has to be thrown away. The coffee and food are 5 star.

I took a caramel cafe frappe and it was so good and can say easily better than Starbucks one.

Coffee here can't be beat! Super clean and efficient. The staff is so friendly and helpful!

This is my first visit. They're very organized for Saturday late morning; my food was ready in 5-10 minutes. I had the Hawaiian Breakfast with Portuguese Sausage. Portions were respectably hearty, with plenty of furikake between the eggs and rice. The pickled ginger was a pleasant flavor surprise! I'll try it with the SPAM next time. If you prefer a medium roast, get their 10% Kona. Very robust, with strong fruit and chocolate notes. I grabbed half a pound ($7.50) before I left.

Quaint, Hawaiian-themed coffee place in Mission Viejo. I had the Private Reserve, 100% Kona Coffee, which tasted so rich & full of flavor. My wife had a Decaf Island Latte, with artisticHawaiian-design on the top. Kona Loa Coffee has comfortable seating areas inside, typical of Starbucks, or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, so you can relax and enjoy their hot or cold-brewed coffees in style. They also have a small front patio here, with a few tables, should the inside be full.

Always good for a delicious coffee or tea or specialty drink! Yummy food and pastries! Parking can be right depending on the time of day (especially after school), but it's worth it.

Love everything about Hawaiian coffee. Bonus for being family owned and operated, you can definitely feel the extra love in all the products and the way everyone treats you. No way I would go to a chain before Kona Loa.

I purchased a pear body pour over and noticed it tasted burnt. I requested to have another cup made and the barista tells me that it was nothing he can do about that. Its 8.50 cup of coffee and I tipped. As Im drinking the cup at my office I can still taste the burnt as this supposed to be awarded kona coffee beans. I didn’t appreciate the barista treating me as if I do not know what I’m talking about drinking coffee.

Great service! Nice and relaxing spot. Even better coffee, probably the best around here . you have a Starbucks across the street but that’s awful. This Hawaiian spot has good chocolates too that are there to buy.

If you want to sit here to study with a laptop or electronic device. Don't.The rules here are inconsistent.Yesterday i was able to charge my phone in the one outlet they have, and now today another person says I can't because its the rules. Not worth the money to sit and stay. Not a welcoming, homey vibe they make it look to be. I have always felt like this place was a "order your drink and get out" vibe. Living in lake forest for over 8 years. Save your money for a quality experience. Your time is precious. This is the last time I be back here. The girls who work here are "nice" but not genuinely friendly.
