On Thursday June 16th we had lunch at this place. This was our first time eating at an Islands in 5 years due to food poisoning at another location. This time my wife ordered a burger and by the time we got home she was sick in the bathroom. I called the restaurant to alert them and also complain. They took down the information what I ordered etc. Manager told me that getting sick that quickly was not the way it works. Thanks doctor, just get the burgers right ok. Never again.
Loved the tortilla soup. The Moscow Mule was pretty dope too. The kids liked watching the surfing and skateboarding on the Tele. Very busy Friday night. Friendly wait staff.
ALWAYS a very good burger joint...good meat in their burgers make it unique and worthy of many visits, if you are near one! Surprised by the less than adequate craft beers...it loses a potential 5-Star rating because of this miscalculation!!!
Good hamburgers cooked the way you like it. Plenty of food with french fries . The wait time was reasonable at dinner time for a party of 2 on Friday
Excellent turkey burger (Big Wave): - Freshly formed, large patty - Well-seasoned - Wheat bun option appreciated - Sliced pickles appreciated - Lettuce, tomato, onions very good Excellent (best) Sweet Potato Fries: - Steak cut - Hot and crispy, but tender inside Poor ambiance: - Alternative Rock music (especially vocal) is annoying, unnecessarily adding to the background noise level. - Instead, program for an "island" feel Still waiting for: - Key Lime Pie (any restaurant named "Island.." must offer Key Lime Pie)
One of the servers gave me these awesome temporary green beans. Sadly, they disappeared after a few bites, but that’s because they were only temporary and existed for a limited time in this world. Thanks server for the amazing experience! Oh and secret menu ramen ??️??️??️
Had the Longboarder burger, which was good, not great. Service was fantastic, the vibe of the restaurant was fun. The drinks were terrible.The price was absolutely ridiculous. $12 for an okay burger. $10 for 9 unimpressive wings. $10 for a terrible Pina colada.I won't be back.
Service is great here. Food comes out when expected even when busy. The food that we received was what was ordered. Seems like a given but not so much these days.
I mean, they serve burgers. If that's what you want, this is a place to eat. The french fries are consistently good.
Fun atmosphere, great food and friendly service. Plenty of parking too. I will go again.
