I think single star rating systems need to aggregate several factors so here is how I break it down:Taste - 2 starsStaff - 5 starsOrdering process - 5 starsBased on that it's a 4 star experienceI so wanted to love this place as we had heard great things. When ordering online I was really excited when looking at the pic of the cheese pizza. Good mix of sauce/cheese with a slight browning on top and what appears to be a semi-thick crust. That's not what we got. It was a very cheese heavy, lightly sauced, thin & plain tasting crust and a little undercooked (I don't think a few minutes longer would've changed much overall). The taste was pretty bland as the cheese overpowers each bite as you chew chew chew chew through the crust. We did get the goat cheese/fig/feta w/ olive oil that was pretty tasty (got that to a 2 star rating). Love supporting local shops but this one's just not for us but worth a shot as you can see many seem to like this style/taste. I did order online to save 10% (slice is a good ordering platform, easy to use) and placed the order for a specific pick up time. I was 10 mins early and they said about 10 more minutes and it was ready right on time. Friendly staff, 100%!
So sorry to see Big O bought out. I knew some was not right when the girl answered the phone and could not explain the salad sizes so you could order for the correct amount of people. Them when I my pizza came in a box I knew something changed. So I asked and unfortunately it was bought out two days prior to me knowing. They answered the phone said it was BIG O and believe me it’s not. So bummed out I will unfortunately not return the pizza was terrible the salad was in a container made ??? So sad. So sorry to see the best surfer pizza place ever now gone! This place will only get one shot at the old Big O customers. No stars for me sorry. I eaten there for years. I can get a box pizza anywhere and we haven’t even talked price.Sorry again best of luck. Too bad you have to post a star to send.
Pizza was half baked literally. I called the store to complain and was told the ovens were not working properly. Let's see your ovens are not heating properly and and can't properly cook the pizza and your still open for business? Wife ordered based on an online special for two pizza and was charged regular price. Cashier knew nothing about it. Bad Bad Bad!
Great tasting pizza. We tried their pizza through someone who referred us. Well never go back to those other guys. I was born in NY who has the best pizzas and this was as good. The pepperoni pizza was fabulous! Thanks Big O.
They were so nice they offered us a free large pepperoni pizza when our order took a little longer to make on a busy day. Their meatball Calzone tastes amazing! I also loved the crust.

2 surfing hairstyle kids working tonight at 5pm NEED TO GET FIRED for not working and doing anything. Bigger surfer hairstyle guy didnt even communicate to me anything when i asked if my order was read etc even 20 minutes after the order was placed. Totally clueless stereotypical surfer kid(s) that cant handle anything. Small cheese pizza and a half meatball sub took over 20 minutes and i was still waiting and hadnt received anything yet nor was i told if anything was even made yet by anyone. Lady working tonight was clueless too and didnt know what the f was going on or what order i had even tho the pos is at her face. Clearly i will never be back and this place is going out of business anyway when the global economy collapses. If you want to ruin a business get 2 stereotypical surfer kids and a clueless middle aged lady to run the back of the house

This is absolutely the BEST Pizza in Orange County! Delicious crust, generous yummy toppings and the Cheese- Love all the Cheese! Superior Quality ingredients… I now can’t eat anywhere else. ❤️
