Short Version: I have been disappointed by CAVA at this location too many times, and now they are a last resort at best and will no longer be earning my business.Full Version: This place has disappointed me time and time again. Most recently they started closing at 8PM unannounced, 2 hours earlier than what is posted on google and their app. They will often close 15-20 mins early for various reasons as well.They are often out of ingredients like the veggie mixes and sauces and they won’t inform you until you’re mostly done with the process of creating your dish.They are very stingy with the ingredients. They get visibly upset when they portion one meager scoop of rice and force you to ask for a little more just to have a regular portion. I shouldn’t be able to see the bottom of the bowl after the rice has been added… You could order a little bit of everything they have to offer and you’ll end up with a half full bowl costing upwards of $15.00, and if you ask for a little more they scoff or try to upcharge even though they are under portioning. This problem is especially bad when it is busy.Some of the employees can be friendly and helpful and do a great job, but for the most part it seems like they hire the rejects from other restaurants, people with no experience is good handling or customer service etc. and it shows. These people literally look like they have absolutely zero interest in being there and when it’s busy there’s always 3 people just standing there ignoring the long line of customers while 1-2 people work the service line and register.Management needs to step it up. Running a restaurant doesn’t take a genius, it just takes hard work and a motivated staff.
So my friend took me here for lunch ? huge line and I was so excited to try it ! But soooo disappointed in the portions for the price you pay ? $20 tiny , tiny bowl that didn’t have much flavor so I asked for salt & pepper and they don’t carry any ??? Ummm ok I obviously finished and left starving and went home to eat more lol most Mediterranean is huge portions so don’t except that here !!
Everything was absolutely delicious. I opted to build my own bowl, and every ingredient (saffron rice, lamb, harissa honey chicken, etc) tasted fresh and amazing. I will definitely be eating here again.
Good food, feels healthy. Only reason not 5 stars is because they break down the juices more than 30min before close and lots of people come late. And I like juices :P Also they've run out of things a couple times but we still really like them.
Recently tried this place and was very impressed! They have so many different options and it makes it quick and convenient to eat healthy on the go. The are does get busy so be mindful of limited parking.
My family and I used to come here weekly because it was a nice, healthy alternative. But the last few times we’ve ordered we’ve experienced a NOTICEABLE change in quality and quantity of the food. The portions are WAY smaller, the food was burnt, ingredients missing…not sure if the management change or what. But my family and I are disappointed and won’t be coming back going forward. This has happened 3x now…so it wasn’t a one off thing. If you’re going to lower your standards, at least lower your prices so we can lower our expectations.

I had never eaten here before but my son suggested it as he had one by him at school when he was in college. I went with the bowl create your own version. While I didn’t even know what some of the options were what I ended up with was quite good. I definitely will return and try some different combinations. Thank you to Justin for dragging me over there!
Unfortunately this was a poor experience, I have been to other Kava restaurants all over the country and had excellent food quality and quantity and this particular location was lacking in quality and the quantity was half of what we get on the east cost. I got about one tablespoon of chicken it was truly pathetic as if that store cuts portions in half. Y’all in SoCal are getting ripped off big time!
Great food. Never disappoints. But it has to be the slowest working staff I've ever seen. Everytime I come here, there is a huge line, and the person, or people serving food have no hustle whatsoever. I think you guys need a new GM.
