*Update* I filled out the questionnaire posted by the owner response below and a customer rep reached out, which I appreciate and shows they're actively trying to improve. I do like their food, so hopefully the next experience goes better.Frequently gets our to go order wrong. Whether it's missing an add on or missing toppings that go on the pizza, it feels like every time we order to go something's missing and, if we don't catch it on the way out, we have to drive back so all the food is cold by the time we get back to it.
I have been here quite a few times to dine in, and it is a typical CPK. I find their pizzas delicious. During COVID I stopped in a couple of times and things were OK; but take home was not nearly as good as dine in. Last week we had a pizza that I picked up, and it was just awful. It was a thin crust that was rubbery despite being overbaked - go figure on that one. I do NOT recommend this CPK for picking up a pizza to go. If you cannot stay for dine in - just wave as you go by.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews… we love CPK, we usually go to the one in main place mall.. food was always outstanding.. 3 days ago we went to the one in mission Viejo on Marguerite. We sat at the bar like usual, bartender wasn’t friendly at all, we didn’t get a smile the entire time , it’s ok. But food was really horrible this time, my husband”s salmon was so dry and over cooked, he can only ate 1/3 of it. My cauliflower pizza was burned underneath and tasted like cracker because it’s so crunchy. Manager she wasn’t friendly at all either … we spent about $65 that night , I still gave her (bartender) a $25 tip thinking maybe she was just too busy and good tip might help to put some smile on her face ??♀️ but overall it was a pretty disappointed experience with CpK who we had always loved
The place smelled like rotten eggs, we were later told by one of the waiters that a sewage pipe broke and they need to get it fixed. ? He said the guy came out, but he broke a sewage pipe trying to fix another pipe! Why the heck were they open??? Anyway...Great food. Great quality. Kinda pricey. But very good service.I hope they get the pipe fixed. They really should close the place until they do. ??♂️
So happy to get great food at CPK once again. During COVID I was having trouble getting good food at a lot of restaurants (not this location) I ordered curbside at CPK. The food was fresh and hot. The order was correct. Thank you CPK!

So Amazing, I grew up on this food and have been here over 300 times seriously.... That's just in the last 10 years before that, I used to come in with friends before closing to get Tiramisu & Chocolate Milk, 4-6 times a week not included in my official count... Unfortunately they took my favorite desert off the menu like so many other things since I was a little kid I lost, this tiramisu loss hurt the most, it's not like any other on earth and can't make it like they do, even with the 3 Official CPK cookbooks I they also took so many other things I love and are irreplaceable like, Focaccia bread, Mediterranean spring rolls, black bean southwestern quesadillas, chicken Caesar sandwich on focaccia bread, tuna sandwich on focaccia bread, tandoori chicken pizza, the original House bread and butter. If I could have one back I would definitely want the focaccia bread back as an appetizer but that's not up to me, I hope they make the right choice to bring it back because they do have the ingredients to make it!!!!!!! We have gone a dozen times or so, for birthdays, after sporting events and just because. The grandkids like the ambience and most parents seem to like that there is a patio allowing a little more noise from their kids during the meals.
Great pizza I have enjoyed since I was a kid, the thin style makes it really easy to eat the pizza and the flavors are always great
It's a chain, but I can't argue with the food, which was good. I've enjoyed everything I've tried here. They have great non-alcoholic cocktails, real cocktails, and a good beer selection.The wait staff are all really friendly, and I've always had good experiences with them. If it's important to you, the staff all wear masks and I think they've taken good covid protection measures.
