The food is good, the presentation is mouth watering. The food comes in hot and remains hot because of the heating tray below it. It is not the kind of food I am accustomed to but I was decent.
I grabbed takeout here twice recently and it was absolutely delicious. I tried both the beef broth soup (#1) and the kimchi soup. Both broths were delicious and the ingredients were extremely plentiful, fresh, high quality, and delicious. There was almost TOO much stuff in the soup! Even though my orders were for takeout and it took me a solid 10-15 mins to get back to my hotel room to eat, the food was still piping hot both times, which I was kind of concerned about. My only regret is that I didn't discover this place earlier in my travels in the area. Next time I'm in Milpitas, I'll be visiting Tasty Pot again. Highly recommend this place to everyone!
We came by during lunch hours. We were able to get seated before the restaurant filled up completely. We ordered two of the beef bowls and one lamb bowl along with drinks. I recall seeing A-cha for their drinks.. they have fruit selections and the usual milk tea selections. The servers forgot the tea that comes with the food, but they were fast to respond once we requested it. Unfortunately, I can't do 4.5 stars here... The food comes within this food tray that sits the metal bowl and flames. If you noticed your food boiling often you can adjust the flames on the side with the little metal tab. Anyway, moving on to the food ?. The picture speaks for itself. Everything in the bowl was tasty! The lamb set came with a diverse amount of food with various tastes. Some of the greens were the sour kind but I love those!
Only visited once. It was very good. I had the Kimchi Dumpling Hot Soup and it was great and serving size was huge! I thought the price was a little high, but when they brought out my order, I realized it was because the amount of food per order. I would have been ok with sharing my order.The dining area was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and came by often to ask if we needed drink refills.
So good on a cold rainy day! It was busy but the wait wasn't too long for weekday lunch. Ordered the tomato hot pot and the ingredients tasted great. It also came with a free iced tea that I decided to take home!

Very nice experience here at tastypot . Interior is very clean and tables are well distanced from each other. The staff members are nice and helpful with suggestions. While the hot pot didn fit my taste as much as I had hoped, I cant deny how delicious it was. Absolutely recommend checking this place out if you love spicy soup pot food.

I had the Taiwanese supreme hot pot and it was quite good. Portion size to price ratio is great for an individual hot pot. Definitely hits the spot on a cold night. The broth doesn't make you feel extremely bloated afterwards. However, I don't feel they use the freshest ingredients. I'd still prefer a DIY hot pot place with more flexibility to choose your own ingredients and make your own dipping sauce.
I brought a friend.Her first Tasty Pot. Loved the food.I brought another friend 2 days later. She loved her pot.Next week, my friend asked me to meet here. How come I like the food every time? No disappointment at all. I think I'm not the only one. :)
