My old man loves this spot, almost always orders something to go, if not a sit down, when we're in the areaThe quail egg and tofu is our go-to starter and 獅子頭 is usually part of our main course. One thing to note, I really like their 奶香紫米粥, but what isn't noted on their online ordering system is that it's pretty much only available at night. This led to a takeout order that took an extra 20 minutes because they didn't have a way to contact me and I didn't know that they were waiting to see if I wanted to change it to red bean soup. Also have to mention that while the desserts are $5, the quantity is family portioned. Can you finish 30+oz of red bean soup by yourself? Yes, but should you? Not unless you're aiming for type II diabetes
Like the porridge much and the dishes they prepared .
Sweet service as usual. Food here is nicely priced. But mostly it’s cold dish… which is a little disappointing to dine in. Will become a pro for the upcoming summer though!
The food is terrible. The meat seasoning are the same mala hot pot spice you get at stores. Literally every chinese restaurant now days use the fake mala spice there's never real spice in food. And meat was wayyy over salted i had to rinse it in water. Beside extremely salty and mala there's literally no flavor in food. I could cook better food myself honestly never eating here or any other Chinese restaurant again
Great food and great service
Food was good, hygiene not so much.. Don’t be fooled if you see cashiers/servers (usually the same people) wearing gloves — they won’t change it for the entire shift, and they’re touching EVERYTHING you can possibly think of (cash, cards, rags, counters, utensils, and guess what…your FOOD). During the times of COVID, or ever for this matter, hygiene should be on the top of your list. You’re serving a big big group of Chinese food lovers. Do better!
Lunch specials are great value! Very authentic flavor
Great value for the price, and the food is good. I like the bitter melon the most.
Pretty good authentic Taiwanese dishes here. Not easy to find places that serve pig ears and tripe. The porridge is good and they give you plenty even if you take it to go.The weekday lunch special is great when you are dining by yourself otherwise it could get a little pricey if you want multiple dishes. The dining area was clean but does look like it needs a little updating. The service is fast and friendly.
We have not been here for more than 10 years. Five of us went last Sunday. We arrived before it was open, at 11:00 AM, just in case it gets crowded. The place is still clean. Food was ok but I really liked the porridge. To me it’s like Taiwanese Dim-Sum. Small plates so you order a variety of them. Service was good and very friendly. Price was acceptable. We left around noon and the place was not crowded. I'll come back when I feel like porridge again.
