Yummy food!Wide and open concept, very roomy restaurant. Good size tables - long and wide.
The meat offering is quite delicious, but the meal can be a little pricey for the ambiance.
Food was great but pricing is pretty high up there. Would love it if it became an all you can eat like it used to be.
Good quality meat. Rice isn't perfect. Bentos are take out only options (seems kinda suspiscious honestly). Quick service and decent accommodations. Wait staff was a bit...untrained.Doesn't seem fit for large parties.-1.5 stars for no bento/combos eating in.
Meat is great quality, but the salad, rice, and soup was sub par. I would recommend this place over gyukaku or manpuku any day
Very disappointed as I used to like this place. I considered their beef boxes for $18 a good deal. It tasted pretty good and they gave you miso soup and side salad with it.They also give you a stamp card for redemption of a free box after 10 stamps which is also cool. What's not cool is my latest experience with the last visit. The cook and the worker there seemed to have changed since my last visit. The worker didn't know how to redeem my free box thru chownow, which is the online system they use. Telling me that I would have to call for my order for the free box. This was never the case before as I've redeemed my free box before with online ordering via chownow. She then goes to tell me the cook inside probably knows and tells me to wait for him.I was like ok whatever. He then comes out and refunds but for the wrong amount. I ordered $18 and $14 meals. I'm supposed to get the refund for the $18 but he chose the wrong one. I get an email about the refund right away so I tell him he refunded the wrong one. He checks and lies to me that he changed the refund.I knew he was bsing since I didn't get another email with the correct refund amount. And guess what. I got charged for the $18 meal on my card.Like bro why would you lie in front of my face man. There weren't even that many customers. Not even busy. If you mess up then fix it and don't lie. They didn't even give me a new stamp card. Also the taste has gone down hill from my last visit. Won't ever be coming back here.
Pricey. Bad customer service. Not worth the price.
Quite possibly the greatest bbq experience I’ve had in the bay. Slightly on the pricey side, but worth every penny. Props to the chef for the mind blowing marinades. Excellent service as well.
Great quality meats and well prepared!
Had prime beef tounge, rib cap, skirt steak and pork cheek with a side of garlic rice between me and a friend. ~$40 before tip. If you've only had ayce bbq before, this is a profoundly different experience that I reccomend you try, because the marinades take each cut of meat to a different level, and the garlic rice was straight outta anime fr. Pricey but so is gold.
