I was looking for the best red bean salted egg pastry and went to:1) M.Y. Bakery $3.852) Sheng Kee Bakery $3.25Both places accept credit card only at minimum purchase of $10.M.Y. Bakery is the clear winner without doubt. Nice dough and the filling was not too overwhelming. I would certainly go for the deal buying 5 and get one free.Sheng kee on the other hand was disappointing. Way to heavy, buttery mushy almost. Didn’t like it.
It's a great place to grab a bite. They have really good Chinese pastries especially their Pineapple buns and Cannon toast, which is just delicious. You should try this place for a snack or quick bite!
Ordered a fruit bday cake. Cake was much better then the cakes I've had before at sheng kee. Highly recommended.
Sheng Kee Bakery serves traditional Hong kong style baked breads, pastries and cakes. Cakes are soft and less sweet than traditional western styles- try their mango moose cakes. It is only store having traditional Chinese wedding assortment. Clean store, well organized. Efficient and courteous staff. Prices commensurate with quality.
Been there only once. But I definitely will be visiting again. I bought a Mango mousse cake, and it was delicious! We can notice the quality of the preparation by looks of it alone. All layers carefully crafted with perfection. A little bit expensive but you are paying for the quality. Definitely worth a visit!
Rude staff and they conveniently never have the Hong Kong milk tea whenever I go. If you don't have an item, don't freaking advertise it then. When I ask they just keep interrupting me and go no no no like some broken robot. I'll take my business at 85 bakery instead of coming here
I'd love to give 4 stars to the pastries, but 2 stars for the service.
This and 85C are two of the better bakery chains in the area. The vanilla rolls are my fav!
It was ok but not as good as I expected. Coming from Cupertino, I expected much better.
Great chinese bakery, especially swiss rolls and cream filled buns
