Shanghai Family Cuisine is a solid 4.5 stars—a Keeper!We stopped in for a late lunch and ordered fan tuan (fried “straight donut” or “you tiao” wrapped in sticky rice), xian do jiang (salted soy milk), ji cai chao Bai ye (Shanghainese spinach sautéed with soft do fu skin), and House Special fried noodles.According to my wife, who is Shanghainese, it’s all authentic and very tasty. We will definitely be back when we’re close by and hungry for very tasty Shanghainese (Chinese) food.
My go-to place for Shanghai Cuisine.Love their mini-wonton, pork-rib, chestnut chicken… Look forward to reopening!
Very authentic Chinese food! Every dish we tried is very delicious. Highly recommend!The only downside is it will be busy at weekend noons so you have to wait for some time, also it's cash only. Other than that, the food is pretty good.
