If you ever tried the same restaurant in LA, please don't come with any expectation. The broth is not even as half as good. There are much better hotpot place in the area for the price here with more choices. NOT RECOMMENDED. The extra star is for the nice staff.
Nice taste. The food was fresh and in good quality. One thing to complain is that there is always a long line to get the sauce. Maybe opening a second sauce area could help
I've been to their LA branch a few times before. The layout and setup is pretty much the same. Lots of choices for diy dipping sauces. Typical fare for meat and veggies. We got the dual pot (one regular and one spicy). I have to say that there's a ton of MSG in the soup. I was thirsty as hell after I got home. The 2 guys from the next table was missing in action for at least half an hour in the bathroom. They got there before we did and after they started eating, they disappeared until we were almost done eating. That's a good sign.
Taste was not bad, and they gave snacks for free including 冰粉，麻团，蛋黄蚕豆. etc. However it’s very pricy, for the same price, I got only about half of the portion compared with what I got at Little lamb. I guess it’s reasonable given the free snacks. Service is okay, environment is good.
It is a bit pricy in terms of the hotpot food potion. Overall food quality and experience is fine. Recommend tomato soup base.

One of the best hotpot restaurants around! I have visited this hotpot place three times and the latest one (Dec. 2021) was the best experience. The food was much better and the hotpot base soup was nice. Also I loved the free snacks so much!
