Nice tidy bar. It was a quiet night when I was in there which worked as I was just looking to unwind with a beer.
I see lots of great reviews, and I sorrily can’t join them. We stayed at the hotel, and came down for dinner. Place was deserted, except for a few bar patrons. We ordered drinks, which were well made. For the price, they were on the weak side, but tasty. They earned an entire star!We ordered, my wife the mushroom burger, but substituted the burger for chicken breast. When asked, they don’t supply gluten free bread, my wife is gluten sensitive, so she got it on a bed of lettuce. I ordered the veggie burger. We ordered the fries for an appetizer, and waited, sipping our drinks. Our food arrived, and it looked great. And that was as far as great went. My wife’s chicken breast was dry, it was very small, and the amount of lettuce was insane. My burger was unseasoned, partly cold, with an unsatisfying feeling left over. Our appetizer was forgotten. That must be due to the high level of customers she had. Working on not listening to the gossip between her and her co worker, and not enjoying dinner, is enough to get 2 stars from me.We went back to our room, got dressed to get in the hot tub, and went down for one more drink. When they asked ‘ are you going in the pool?’ We replied ‘ yes, but the hot tub, not the pool’They had to change out the glass for plastic, as we we’re going to be in the pool area. All good. The problem, is when we got to the pool door, it had closed at 8 pm. It was 9:30 pm. They had no idea what time it closed. Shows a lack of communication between the two companies, hotel and restaurant. A simple sharing of information would have been great.Find a different hotel with a restaurant to stay at. Unless it’s the zombie apocalypse. Then this place will do.
This is the perfect tiki setting to be drinking $7 Pina coladas during happy hour. I wish they had coconut shrimp, but the bartender was sweet and said i could order anything and have it delivered here. They have a great menu and comfy seating. I was here for a birthday party and it worked out well with reserved tables in the corner. I enjoyed the Pina colada too.
Good drinks, great dessert's
One of the best Ribeye steaks I've had in a very long time. Wonderful atmosphere and great service.
You have to go when Renee is working, she is an excellent mixologist!!!
As someone who frequents the restaurant, I can say that you get what you pay for.The food is a little over priced, but most of the entrees and appetizers taste really well. Depending on the cooks in the back, the quality can vary night to night. The drink selection is similar to the food, overpriced but tasty. Quality varies bartender to bartender but generally its a good drink.Service varies from day to day and time of day as well. Every time I have come through it has been acceptable to great.Crowne Plaza is a hotel that caters to business men and women from around the world and thats why the price of food is raised, since it usually gets put on a company card. All in all a good experience with a clean atmosphere and great staff. Definitely recommend coming if you are okay with spending a little extra for the food and drinks.
Great place wonderful drinks. Food is good. Good bar tender.
Worked out as a great place to meet up with a visiting friend from out of town with old friends from this area. Had appetizers and beverages and shared friendship
