The worst barbeque restaurant in the Bay Area does not provide good service and the food is also expensive. Is it for humans to eat?
called for Togo order. They had the wrong item (much more expansive items and charged extra) and do not admit the mistake.
Waited about 100mins to got my order! Who else can beat this record?!Ordered at 6:07pm, got my order at 7:45pm... checked the waiting time with their waitress for more than 3times. At the very beginning, they told me the waiting time is 45min.Safety concerns: some waitresses with no masks and gloves for preparing the food!
They always tend to omit something in my order, and never refund even they said they will. They are doing it on purpose and to all customers.They’ve been forced shut down for not wearing mask in Lockdown.
Ordered take out and arrive within 15 minutes. The store was closed before stated closing hour. No one picks up the phone , worst restaurant ever.
My family ordered food for my birthday, we’ve tried many other bbq in Bay Area and I have to say the taste here is fine. However, I also have to give a one star feedback due to food safety issue as other have pointed out. All my family had stomachache after eating the bbq and I even vomited. This will be the only time we order food from this restaurant and I seriously don’t recommend ppl taking the risks. I will also try to get FDA or relevant local authorities involved.
I actually love the dishes and service, excellent location close to my home. The employees are always very nice. Will come back again.

Food safety?食品安全？I was a regular customer of My BBQ before yesterday. But the experience happened yesterday make me banned this store permanently.I ordered some to-go food and after I went home I am happy to enjoy the food until I saw a pen at the bottom of one of the dinner box...This pen is not even covered and my friends and I had already eaten most of the foods in that dinner box. I am not sure how much ink I ate into my stomach???I felt bad and called the merchant to complain. I told them there is a pen in our foods but they told me they can provide us some free food next time and didn’t want to do any compensation on this accident?Is there anyone going to a restaurant again who let you ate a pen??? What do you mean for giving me some free food next time???I ate at least ten times in My BBQ after I came to the Bay Area because the taste is okay for me. But I will never go again since I don’t want to eat pen and ink again :) The red circles dinner box in the picture is the #pen box :)
Really like their bbq. The service is always good here.
