It was my first meet with Filipino food and I enjoyed it. The place is full of Filipinos what tells that the flavors are authentic. The prices are cheap compared to the enormous portions of food that they serve. The service is awesome as well. I will return as soon as possible.

The food is delicious. Sinagang is perfectly sour. Sarap ulam.Side note: check your bill as i almost included an extra 20% tip on my party of 4.The 20% tip was included on the bill but on the merchant copy to sign, there is a tip line included. I think their POS should be updated to take that tip line item off the merchant signature copy.Just beware to always look at your receipts for merchants adding the extra tip item when it is already included.

Delicious and generous portions of food. Very good customer service. Reasonable prices. Clean and spacious. I recommend to true Kababayans who know and love Filipino food. Will come again if in the area.

I really enjoyed their bulalo! Happy I found this place finally. The serving size is massive. The bowl in the picture is roughly a fourth. They are excellent in preparing for takeout orders like mine. Packing up soup is tricky...the attention to detail sets them apart.Support your local restaurants!

Worst Filipino food I've ever had in my life. The sisig was made with pork meat, no pork ears or any of the cartilage, it was very tough meat and I'm 100% sure that it was reheated. The bangus belly sinigang had 0 belly whatsoever. See the picture below. ALL of the veggies were undercooked and I'm pretty sure they just used some instant soup mix, put the veggies in and served it raw. Would NOT recommend this place. Worst Filipino restaurant I've ever been to.

This restaurant was recommended by family as one of the best Filipino establishments in the Bay area. The restaurant itself is quite large, and the decor is quite nice, giving a touch of class to the dining experience, something that I have not experienced at other Filipino restaurants that I've been to.The menu is quite extensive, and there are a lot of staples and also some dishes that were unique to Kalesa. We ordered the Ukoy, Kare Kare, Sizzling Pork Sisig, Sizzling Bangus Sisig and the Pinakbet. The Ukoy, which is a vegetable and shrimp fried patty, was excellent. Crispy and flavourful and was not greasy as found in other establishments. The Kare Kare, a peanut based oxtail and vegetable stew, also had amazing flavour. The stew was thick and there was a great balance of flavour, nothing too overpowering, and the oxtail was tender. Both sizzling Sisig dishes were crispy, had a touch of spice and tasted amazing paired with garlic rice. Lastly the Pinakbet, a mix of vegetables like eggplant, and Okra, was a perfect compliment to lighten up the overall meal. The service was fast and friendly, and the parking is plentiful. The only negative was that the washrooms were a little disorderly and not clean. Overall a nice experience and highly recommended, especially if you have not experienced Filipino cuisine.

We went Kalesa restaurant for lunch. It’s Filipino restaurant, they have good service but but not really great (maybe it’s not my favorite food), my friends enjoyed it but I like Pork BBQ ?Good tried & experience

We went to eat for dinner food was good but it took a while for them to take our orders. There is only one who takes orders and serves. We have to wait till she was done serving the other customers to get our order

A coworker recommended this place. Great service. I had a to-go order of the chicken adobo and rice, soo good. Also had Halo-Halo and that was super yummy. Will have to try the rest of the menu when I come back from southern CA.

Friendly employees, good foods and great place?
