I believe that it is one of the best Korean restaurants in Bay Area.Enjoyed genuine Korean foods at a different place. Fun time.
What an amazing experience when you know what your doing. ? I was brought here for a graduation dinner with a friend and her family and they led the way to what was one of the best family style meals I've ever had. We ordered what seemed like 2 of everything and we all got to try everything. You buy each dish separately like any other restaurant so with less people you taste less food but we had 13 people so, WE TRIED EVERYTHING!!! SO GOOOD!! At first it seemed pricey, we spent around $600 for 13 people but that wasn't until you saw just how much food and sides were served. I highly recommend the braised beef. The spicy is spicy but just the right amount. It is however one of the more expensive dished at $67 but worth it. The rest range between $20-$35. Highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back!!!
We came on Saturday night for dinner at 8:10pm, the restaurant shows to close at 9pm. The waitress told us bbq is closed and last order is 8:30pm, that’s totally fine. However, at 8:15pm, there is a guy came out and refuse to take us in, I asked him why, since I saw a lot of empty tables inside. He said the side of restaurant has to close by 8:30pm!??? He is just not willing to take customers, if you don’t want to do business, shut off the door, It’s ridiculous to refuse customers at 8:15 pm for a Saturday dinner! I will never come back to this restaurant.
Wonderfully creative and delicious cuisine. The chef here is a genius. The restaurant itself is elegantly casual. Everything was perfectly cooked, paired, and beyond satisfying for the price. The food was excellent and the waiter we had was very knowledgeable about the dishes and various wine and beers. Thank you for an amazing dining experience for my birthday. Highly recommended!
Authentic feel, didn’t look or taste “Americanized”. If I didn’t know better I would have thought I was in ROK enjoying this meal.
Our family dinner was great there with good services and good food
First time eating Korean food. I was taken by a Korean and she was awesome in explaining what everything was and which spicy items to avoid. It was good.
Super tasty and delicious Korean food. The restaurant very clean and service was fast and prompt to our requests. Will come back when I have a chance
Jang Su Jang Korean BBQ is really great! I was hungry at lunch time in the area and saw it, decided to try it out, I'm very glad I did. I ordered the galbi ribs which are beef short ribs cut across the bone (my favorite dish). They were the best I ever had! And came with many small sides that were all delicious. Fairly high price yet worth every penny. Try it out you won't regret.
Heard so much about this place for a while. Extremely overrated and I agree with the negative rating. We were two grownups and a child and wanted to cook live at our table. The waiters were rude, clearly condescending towards us and not at all interested in helping us decide on the right order. They finally placed an order which comes precooked from kitchen, not a live BBQ as was the plan. The meat was overall OK, but the entire experience is such I would never visit again. I guess the owners of the chain need to train their staff if they wish to operate in a multicultural area like bay area. The price is unreasonable, but might have been more acceptable if the service was better. Overall, pls skip this place.
