Awesome place for a quick sandwich and pearl drink. The prices are still amazing after all these years too!

Update: a grilled meat sandwich is $6.25 today, there is a 4% charge if you use credit cards.

Wish I live near here and can go daily to get these authentic delicious foods

Delicious Vietnamese sandwiches ?

Love the band mi's here. Spring rolls are also pretty yummi.

Huong Lan Sandwiches is known for well, its sandwiches...Banh Mi to be exact. It also offers a large selection of prepackaged lunch trays and a hot food section (to the right of the entrance) featuring some Vietnamese "greatest hits". Think of it as an old school Vietnamese deli. I do.Sandwiches average $6 and for those folks who remember when sandwiches were $1 or $1.50...$6 is a lot. Times are tough and it's hard to stay profitable these days. I get it.A better deal in my opinion is the two noodle bowls they offer . Spicy beef and Bun Bo Hue. While not as rich and flavorful as before and not as good as other noodle places around Milpitas, the price is great....$8.50. These days, that's a deal in my book.As for the bowl of Bun Bi Hue itself, it's good. The broth is a little thinner but they still give you enough noodles and meat (pig feet, shank, tendon, pork pate) to make it a good meal. If you don't like the mystery meats, go with the beef. It's too bad they don't advertise the noodles more, or maybe they don't want to. Next time you're in the neighborhood, give it a try. There's isn't much décor but if paying less than $10 for a bowl of noodles piques your interest, the décor is the least of your worries.

There is one younger employee who is super nice but there is another employee who has on several occasions given really bad/rude service. I usually don't write bad reviews but I always feel unwelcomed when she is working there. Sometimes I have to beckon her to serve me because she will just be standing at the tegister staring at me. It has happened more than one time so I know she understands me.Other than that, their food is delicious.

Food was decent. Entrees were cold.

Good price for sandwiches. Eat fresh is good

My go to for a Vietnamese sandwich in the Milpitas area. Sandwiches are delicious, filling, and inexpensive! Perfect trifecta. The drinks are also amazing. The honey lemon black tea is a personal favorite of mine.
