Food was very good, fast and efficient service like in most Chinese restaurants. They had some very hard to find Chinese dishes (outside of China) quantity was very good too. Halal signs posted in and out.
Reasonable price. Food taste good if you like halal food.
I am always amazed how fast they can serve the food after you place the order. They definitely will be the champion if there is a cooking speed contest. The food is delicious. Always my first choice at Milpitas square. Highly recommend.
15% service charge is included already, but they do NOT tell you when the bill comes. Deceptive practice. Shouldn't it be against some law? Food used to be great, just OK now. There used to be many big Chinese family gatherings. Now, there are more middle easterners here for Halal food than Chinese people. Not much services. Some waitstaff members are friendly enough, some aren't. 15% service charge should be good enough for tips, be careful not to be tricked into double tipping!
Been going to Darda for years now. Beef noodle soup with the hand made noodles are the best.
This place won my heart. Halal Chinese food, quality food selections, everything on the menu literally tastes yummy. The speediness of the staff is sonic fast. & i will be coming back forever. Top notch restaurant with perfect serving portions
Very good food and cooked fast!
A great Chinese halal restaurant. Fast service and delicious food with extensive menus to choose from. We always come here if we are craving for good halal Chinese food.
This has been one of our favorites for many many years. We made friends with many of their staff members over the years. Our go-to dishes are Sesame Green Onion Bread (both thick and thin versions are great), Dumplings, Braised Beef with Leek (2nd picture), Beef with Sliced Noodle Soup, and Variety Fried Sliced Noodle. During Covid we ordered take-out on a weekly basis. So glad we were able to dine in last Sunday. Great to see our friends there and our kids loved having extra fortune cookies from the staff! (Next time I’ll make sure I take better photos.)
A gem of a place in the bay! Extremely popular as one can see from the large number of guests and some amount of wait time, even though the service is quick and they serve you quite fast. The best part is that it’s halal!Strongly recommend the following items - noting that portion sizes are large and each item can serve upto 3 very hungry people:1. Sesame bread - thick one with garlic and scallions - soft, pillowy bread served warm and best had with the saucy stir fries or on its own.2. Spicy Hunan beef - soft, spicy beef pieces stir fried in vegetables and a nice sauce.3. Hand cut chicken noodles - tasty, warm noodles stir fried in veggies and chicken - mildly spicy4. Crispy roasted duck - this was a new item for me - the meat had a gamey taste and was darker than chicken. Served with crackers though I wish they gave a coleslaw or some other sauce to go with it.Keen to come back and try other items. It seems to be a local favorite. They also serve a warm tea (not sure if black or green) which helps digest the meal.
