Service was fast but could have been better. There seemed to be only 1 or 2 waiters on a weekend lunch service, so she did not take time to provide any info on menu or items we ordered. She seemed to be in a rush all the time.Food was okay and the rating is for food. Kung Pao chicken was too sweet, fried rice was dull and boiled fish was okay. I had better version of these dishes at other restaurants. Note that boiled fish portion size was for 4 people. For 2 people’s order, the waitress could have informed us.
Golden noodles, chili crispy chicken, cilantro beef, mapu tofu!!
Absolutely delicious hot and spicy food. The food will get you sweating in no time. The vegetables are fresh and tasty. The pork belly is smoky smooth melt in your mouth.
Service was fast and friendly. Food came out quickly and was tasty! The eggplant in garlic sauce was our favorite along with the chicken corn soup.
We were getting ready to fly out of San Francisco but needed a place to eat the night before. Found wonderful on Google and went. Its was very busy but we got in and out quick. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. The food was some of the best food I had all trip! Will definitely be going back next time I'm in the area!
Excellent, authentic Hunan style Chinese food for people who cares quality. Service is lightning fast. Don't bother to ask for food recommendation, as they're all really good. Parking is a real problem in an area like this, which is loaded with good restaurants. Give yourself enough time to enjoy a good meal.
The food was great ! The iron pot chicken wings was a nice surprise. We like that you can adjust the spice level esp with Hunan style spicesUnfortunately, the memory of this place is that our car was broken into in the nearby public parking lot. Heed the sign that Wonderful has put up as you enter the restaurant. We had nothing showing in the car but maybe it was a rental that was an attraction.
I adore this authentic, high-class, Chinese joint. From the flatbread, to the cabbage noodles, Wonderful won my heart at the first taste. I recommend the lotus root slices, vinegar potato slices, the flatbread, the cabbage noodles, the lettuce cups, the veggie fried rice, and so on. The adaptability, the food, and the service are all remarkable. If you come to visit California and are staying somewhere near this joint, I definitely recommend it. They also have takeout. As a little bonus, when you are done eating at Wonderful, you can grab a bubble tea at T4 a little bit down the street!
We had a 6 hour layover in SFO and went to Wonderful on the recommendation of a San Francisco residing son of a couple we were traveling with. This did not disappoint. Wonderful serves some of the best Chinese fare we have ever tasted, in a hole in the wall setting. The restaurant seems to mainly focus on take-out but has maybe 8 tables for dining. The kitchen is busy and efficient. Kung Pao and Orange Chicken dishes were phenomenal. We tried some Hunan dishes like the pancakes that were tasty and unique. Relatively inexpensive.
delecious food and nice service
