Best Chinese food l have had in a long time. Chicken and corn Dumplings were very good also the Orange chicken.

You’ve gotta get the dumplings. Pan seared pork shrimp and chive is my favorite, add the chili crisp and a bit of vinegar ?. They prepare the dumplings fresh (you can see them make it behind a glass screen) and it really makes a difference. The filling is juicy, fresh, and flavorful; the wrapper is chewy without being too dry or wetAlso, get the potato salad and the couples sliced beef for the perfect accompaniment!
Authentic. Service wasn’t overly friendly but I went in a bit late (30 minutes before closing). I had G8 Chengdu Spicy Steam Pot (with seafood, meat, and veggies). It was superb with a good mix of eclectic vegetables and mushrooms, fish and beef. It was served with rice and tea.
This spot lives up to its name as 'a tasty place'. The kung pao shrimp was a pleasant surprise in flavor. Not swimming in a watery sauce but a thick consistent one that melded well with any other dish. Will come back for seconds and more!

Mapo tofu was amazing and the dumplings were even more amazing! Haven’t had dumplings this flavorful, almost EVER! Will surely be back next time I’m near SFO.

My wife and I order from Tasty Place almost weekly. Everything has been delicious, from their small plates, rice dishes, dumplings (especially the house dumpling), and even the new BBQ items they've started to do. Never too oily, and flavors are very consistent.
