Stopped by while traveling and this particular store was out of milk, boba, tea, ect. So they were pretty much out of everything. ?
Milk tea tasted just so so, other stores nearby have better drinks.
I'm giving the honor of my first review of 2020 to Motto if that's any indication of how much I enjoyed this cafe. :)I came here specifically with my eye on their Japanese souffle pancakes cause I loveee that stuff! It's ridiculously expensive in the states relative to prices in Asia, but this is such a rare find here that honestly they could charge whatever they want, and I'd still go out of my way to get it. Also, I looked up recipes for how to make this stuff myself at home, and I discovered that unless you're Martha Stewart or someone from The Great British Baking Show, it's better to save yourself the time and hassle and just pay the pretty penny for it!

It’s been awhile but used to come regularlyfore corona, Now will be going back again. Good place to hang and have conversation with friends while eating popcorn chicken and drinking tasty boba milk tea drinks. Lot of young people at this downtown Millbrae location.M
Tea was fine, but the straw was too small for the boba. Rookie mistake.
