Absolutely an amazing meal.. very clean locale, and the staff is beyond friendly. We were so full from the meal and absolutely blown away by how authentic it was

Our favorite dumpling shop on the peninsula. Kitchen is fast, service is excellent, and food is soooo good.

We were the 1st group in the dining room for lunch, so we were seated quickly. Our server took our order and immediately dashed away because the dining room started to fill up. He was the only person serving the room, so he was taking phone orders, running in and out of the kitchen, cashiering the takeout orders, bringing waters and much more. The food was good. We especially enjoyed the tofu and seafood claypot. I hope the hard-working server gets some help soon.

I found this place by accident.. I love there Shanghai dumplings.. I love that the dumplings have soup in them.. The service was great and they are friendly.. Will definitely go back..

Great resturaunt although not the 1st time I've been here. A return visit could be a sign of my enjoyment of this place.

Name is the same but taste is different from precovid restrictions. New owner? Interior has been remodeled. Booths replaced with table and chairs and no decorations. Ordered braised beef noodle soup, shou long bao, vegetarian dumplings and garlic fried green beans. All were good except vegetarian steamed dumplings. Had an off tasting bitter flavor. Shou long bao were good but were soupy and slightly sweet. Will return to try other dishes.

This is a favorite haunt of a group of friends of mine. We come here for tasty and authentic steamed buns and dumplings. No worries if you only speak English, they have English menus.

Good food. Quick service.

I always enjoyed the food here. Most of their food on the menu is at least 4 stars! Their XLBs (xiao long baos) are inconsistent as of late, however delicious. The inconsistency comes from the amount of soup in each XLB dumpling. The flavor is delicate and I need to make sure that my palette isn't deteriorated by more flavorful food such as their garlic string beans - which are 5 stars every time! I really enjoyed their potstickers, but they would be better if a little more fried for that crunchy goodness.I highly recommend Shanghai Dumpling Shop for your XLB needs. Parking around 5pm on a Saturday was easy, but parking can be challenging on this very busy street full of other businesses.

Been to Shanghai many times, and love the xiao long bao(XLB). there and this is the closest thing to Shanghai’s delicious food around here. Beside the XLBs, try the potstickers and the popular lion’s head)shi dze to) meatball on rice! Yum!!!
