On a pitstop through SF and was glad to find this restaurant just a few minutes walk from my hotel. The Szechuan dumplings were not as spicy as I hope but has that aromatic flavors unique to this type of cuisine. The combination fried noodles has generous portion of ingredients, making it a satisfying meal.
Best kung pao, fried rice and noodle.
I am always on the hunt for non-americanized Chinese food. You definitely get it here. I had the cold noodles with shredded chicken and order dumplings. Portions were generous, I've paid more in less expensive areas for less food. Quality of the food is up there for sure. If you are in the area, or even further away, it is worth grabbing something from this gem.
The food tasted good, the chef had decent techniques, but needs improvement in preparation. The green beans were served full of strings.
Finally found an authentic gou bao rou (sweet & sour crispy pork). Gou bao rou is one of my favorite dishes when I lived in Harbin, China and I can vouch that having Royal Feast’s gou bao rou made me feel like I was back in the midst of freezing Harbin winter eating gou bao rou. ??
Been in a couple of times, very authentic and great service for 10+ people. Ordering CNY dinner from here too.
Excellent food - squirrel fish was exceptional. It is definitely a diverse of offering of various regions in China but everything was spot on and of exceptional quality. Felt like I was back in mainland.
Love their eggplant garlic fish.Quick and efficient take out operation
Stopped here for a big, authentic Chinese meal after landing from SFO. Everything was great, but the string beans and eggplant were especially good. The Chong Qing spicy chicken was lightly breaded and moist, with some garlic bites throughout.Staff was friendly and relatively fast, though there were very few people in the restaurant at the time. I'd definitely go back again if I'm in the area.
Try the Mongolian Beef With White Rice ???
