Really good porridge, other dishes taste good and authentic
This was my first time coming to this place. I ordered 2 serving porridge which it could serve 4 people and everyone could get 2 bowls. I also had clay pot fish. It was surprisingly good. I was recommended to order half of a chicken for 18 bucks. The chicken was pretty tasty, but 18 bucks for a small half of a chicken was a bit pricey. I also liked their noodle. Overall... the services were good. The quality of food was good enough where I would come back to try different dishes. One thing I didn't like was that they calculated the tips along with tax, which I don't think it's fair, especially we don't get served by TAX or TAX doesn't provide food. I gave them 18% of tips before tax.
Food is delicious! Black bean sauce clams, roasted squab, garlic chicken, braised duck are some of our favorites. :)
Don’t understand why this place is not above 4.5 stars. The food is so yummy and definitely worth a 5 star… I’m not from Chiu Chow where this restaurant is all about, but I’m from Hokkien which is adjacent to Chiu Chow and our foods have so much in common. I’m feeling home dining here.The food here is extremely authentic, incredibly flavorful, and hearty——foods are tasty of course but most importantly, you’re guaranteed to walk away feeling comfortable and satiated. 蒜香鸡 has that crusty skin and onion hint and we cannot stop, 海鲜粥 is so flavorful, 煎带鱼 and 蚝烙 are way beyond our expectation because they’re done just right with crusty outside and tasteful inside. Even their 清炒芥兰 is so good and I’ll crave for more. Everything we ordered are top notch among all Chinese foods I’ve had in the states.Of course, I might be biased because I organically like this type of food due to its similarity to that of my hometown. I can’t guarantee that you’ll like it but at least give this place a try if you haven’t!
Service was adequate and food was decent. Only peeve was we received the bill while we were still eating, about half way. What kind of $hit is that?
This is an one of the kind experience - you won't see too many Chaozhou/Chiuchow restaurants in the United States. The porridge and the Chow Fun are definitely a must try, and we found the fish paste very authentic too - again, that's not something you will see everyday here.Growing up with Chaozhou food during my childhood (although I was not from the area), this restaurant definitely makes me feel homesick.If you want to try out some good porridge or just want to get Chaozhou food, this restaurant should absolutely be on your list.

I’m here to testify the great dr izebere for he is a great spell caster. My ex left without any reason I was heartbroken because I loved her so much I tried all means to get her back all to no avail, not until I came across dr izebere and contacted him and behold my joy was restored within 24 hours
Good food! But I arrived at 9:27 PM and was told no more dining in, only take out available.
Good to winter season! porridge is so authentic flavor, I really do love it! and all porridge can add extra item if you'd like. Also, the dishes in here are great choice for seafood and more beyond.
