Friend and I came here and ordered two 'snack' items. Time between each dish was a full 15 min or longer. So we just shared one snack and didn't even want the other in the end. We were just grateful to leave.

A good old cup of life and the avocado toast started my day in Millbrae, CA. The pickled veggies on the toast took it to a whole new level. I got there fairly early on a Saturday morning and I'm glad. The line was out the door when I left. I recommend for a quick non-pancake start to your day.
Horrible service. Dishes were almost smashed onto our table. Food were pale and small in portions.
Perfect place to catch up with friends over a wide variety of delicious Cantonese dishes, deserts, and free tea! We experienced one of the best services from a Chinese restaurant we ever visited. Owner was super friendly and patient with us, kept our tea cups full at all times. Would visit again when we in Millbrae next time!

Convenientdowntown Millbrae location. Their porridge(jok) and turnip cakes(luo bu gao) are delicious. Price is reasonable. Excellent friendly service! Always greeted with a smile/hello when I walk in.
We went hunting for breakfast at 6:30 in the morning with low hopes, but came across the open doors of HS Cafe at a bit past seven. The man at the counter was super friendly and didn't seem to mind our traipsing inside before the restaurant opened, and we got our order within 5 minutes. Our food was great and we'd definitely recommend the 油条/Chinese donut, which goes perfectly with the congee. Thank you so much for a delicious breakfast even at such ungodly hours!
never seen a place so badly organized with only two people and old enough to work, a wait of more than 30 minutes that in the end made me pass the desire to wait, luckily curiosity sometimes makes you discover such places, so that don't go back there anymore
