I just ate a very delicious lunch here at Toni’s. The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Five Star Grilled Cheese sandwich that has cheddar, Jack, Swiss, Provolone, and Pepper Jack Cheese! It comes with fries. I also ordered a bowl of Cream of Green Chili soup which I highly recommend. For my drink I had a strawberry Italian soda.
The food was wonderful and the server was outstanding such a lovely woman God-bless her and I love her earrings
Delicious sammys, nice outdoor seating, I had the Focaccia bread with the Mediterranean chicken, girlfriend had the turkey, cranberry, sweet tater fries, all excellent eats, generous portions.
Great atmosphere, kind and attentive service. Had an excellent ruben with sweet potato fries. The iced tea was delish, and I am picky about that. Took home some slices of cake to enjoy with the kids later. We will definitely be going back again!

I have frequented this location a few times but didn’t expect the service I received today. I called in an order of 3 items and 3 bakery items. They stated it would be around 15 minutes. After arriving at the stated pickup time, they said it was on its way out. I then proceeded to wait an additional 30 minutes without receiving my order. During my time waiting I noticed them prioritizing dine in orders, while my order remained unmade. Refund was requested after 30 minute wait after pickup time.
Not as clean as it usually is. Looks a bit run down. Paper menus are stained up with grubbiness.Food is okay...not bad..not excellent...but okay.The staff is very friendly and helpful.
We come here everytime we visit Merced. The food is outstanding and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We have come for lunch and breakfast. Highly recommended
I don’t doubt that the food is as good as it appears in the photos. The restaurant seems to have its solid clientele. The decor of the restaurant has its charm. I believe that first impressions are important. I walked into Toni’s Courtyard cafe on a Friday sometime before 11am. When I walked in there was an older lady behind the register. Older in the sense that she was significantly older than the other younger ladies that were behind the counter. This lady was unfriendly in demeanor facial expressions specifically. She also did not greet me as a host in a restaurant should normally greet customers. She proceeded to be sarcastic in asking me if I was looking for someone when I was standing in front of the counter to be helped. It should be obvious that maybe “ how can I help you”? would be more fitting of a question from the restaurant host. Also attitude in how things are presented. I have also worked in customer service and I know that a smile or hello is a better angle. This lady whom I did not see a name tag on made me feel very unwelcome. It should be noted that even though the other ladies behind the counter were actually busy I did not feel that they were rude or impolite such as was the older lady directly behind the register. I think Toni’s is a good place to eat and charming little spot. But for me because of my personal experience I will have to go someplace else.
