This place is great! Their menu features some seafood as well as the traditional tacos and burritos. Not super expansive in that regard. The food is pretty good to acceptable (every place can't be perfect at everything). Their stand out item is certainly their waffle fries. I highly recommend getting them and using carnitas instead. Tastes magnificent.
We were looking for a dine in location around 8 pm in town. Although most restaurants stated that they were open they told us that they were only taking carry out orders. We ran upon this cozy spot and the staff were tidying up for the night but asked us if we preferred dine in or carry out. Our order was taken and we were served our appetizers. The food was delicious and the environment was welcoming. We were out in less than an hour. Due to their efficiency we were able to enjoy excellent food and leave in plenty of time so they can close on schedule. A huge shout out the the owner & staff!
I will hardly go out of my way to write a bad review on a business as I try to be fair and understand things happen and nothing is perfect. But this place deserves it. I have placed orders three separate occasions from this establishment with the same lady with attitude taking my order and not getting it right 3x and still leaving a “propina” Today is February 3 2022 three strikes your out and I won’t elaborate on past orders just today (but they didn’t get it right then either), it isn’t my fault for not checking the order it’s the establishments fault for not making an order correct 3x in a row that now I’m writing this review, I ordered a carne asada quesadilla. As you can see in the picture I got a carne asada tortilla. I said I will pay for extra chips and salsa which most places will give for free , I got 0 salsa and one small bag of chips. I specifically Ordered a chimichanga with green sauce on the side in Spanish, since they wouldn’t do a “wet” chimichanga I said I’ll pay extra to put sauce on the side, no sauce, my wife’s regular burrito is horrible. The pico seems as it has been sitting since 11am it’s 10pm now. I’m not looking for any refund or free food but the management at this place needs to fire the lady at the phone or register who can’t do the simplest of jobs or be there in the future to guarantee their success of their business because as for me I’ll go to a taco truck rather than this joint. This is a joke. And I don’t want an apology over failed management. Don’t order from this place.
One of the best Mexican food restaurants in Merced. Super quesadilla is so good! The chimichanga burrito is insanely good. I love that you never have to worry about weird chewy pieces with carne asada. Everything taste fresh and homemade.
So A...This place scared the beans out of me, and I don't mean the beans. I'm handicapped and thought I would break my face trying to get from the car across the wet shell parking area with no sloped area on the curb and just a real wreck. I had a black hair net stuck to my shoe when I got back in the car. Horrible rickety seating and no menus. I couldn't see the menu board to read it. So I ordered what looked like a stuffed pineapple. Someone said it had shrimp so it came.. what I thought would be rice and beans was chunks of gross baby octopus.. oh MAN.. those guys are buddies with fish and I'm not wanting to go there. They didn't offer to serve me something else.And 2.. see AOh yeah. Cilantro on everything. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because some of my family liked their food. I consider it a dump ..and I live in Modesto. They should have offered me something normal. I would have tipped them enough to pay for both meals.. even child abuse lawyers for the poor baby octopi.
Fair price and generous servings. One of the best chimichangas I've had.
Worst breakfast burritos ever. My dog could cook better than that. Wheres the seasoning? Ever heard of flavor?

They take their time to make the food! Very hard working people in the back! The girl in the front not too friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good.Horchata was flavorless and meat as well.
