Great place! Ordered for a graduation party, large group, and Strings was on top of it. Portions were huge, price was fair, they provided all the necessary sides (utensils, plates, cheese, dressing, serving platters and spoons)..and as always.. delicious ? would highly recommend Strings for anyone looking to feed a large group or for amazing Italian food.
I was at strings Sunday evening to place a to-go order and Albert who's customer service was fantastic and above and beyond anything that I could ever imagine help me choose from the menu he was patient and very helpful. By the way the lasagna and tortellini was Superior. It's been some time since I've had customer service like that. Thank you Robert for doing what you do. Because of you I'll be back at Strings again.
This was my first time at Strings. The food was pretty good. They do have pretty good bread and a cheesy spread you can top on with it. I'm a fan of chicken parmesan and that's what I got. It was good. Nothing wrong with it and nothing to boast about. The service was Fantastic. Even after paying, my party stayed a while after at our table just chatting they still checked up on us asking if we needed refills. I would recommend this place to anyone craving pasta. They also do sandwiches and pizza.
They make you wait forever in a super cold restaurant, then it seems they only seat on one side at a time, and don't try to get outside seating on a weekend, seems whoever calls first to reserve it, can reserve THE WHOLE OUTDOOR PATIO! So if you want to sit outside on a Sunday, which we know many restaurants in Merced are closed on, you have basically3 other choices, Tumeric, Mexican restaurant next to it and the subshop next to that.Merced, could we please get MORE outdoor dining choices on Sundays!!!

Food is ok, some of the plate portions should be bigger in price comparison. In my opinion that is what attracts people good prices and portions!
One thing that upsets me is when you walk into one of your favorite restaurants and they tell you they're closed. It's 1 hr before closing and there are guests ordering food. We just got back from vacation and we're craving Italian food. We have never encountered any issues with other restaurants because they are closing early. Next time, management should update the website, reflecting as closed.Thank you AGAVE for your hospitality and for taking care of us!
They have great food and service.
Was disappointed because the soup and salad is no longer all you can eat. I had it and the cup of soup was so small and the only vegetables in it was cabbage. Nothing like it use to be
The deliciousness was what I needed. I got the Lasagna and Tortellini combo...WHEN I TELL YOU IT WAS GOOD...IT WAS GOOD.I can still smell the flavors, still taste the yummy goodness. I can't lie, I passed out after indulging on this MUST TRY item.
