Update: I just got a asada supreme burrito and it was big. It was $10. I had like the burrito from Victoria's but they raised the price to $14.30. No burrito should cost that much. Maria's wasn't as good but $4 cheaper made it far more better. And it was good though.The food here is good. Some of it is very expensive but I personally would get the child's plate for $2.50. Then their condiments which I like better than the other taco shops that are similar and Merced Maria's has the best. On the child's plate you get a small burrito a small pile of beans and a small pile of rice and some lettuce you can get an extra tortilla for $0.50 and put all that other stuff in one tortilla and then take your condiments and add to both burritos and you get to big fat burritos for $3.25. So if you're looking to eat a good sized meal for a small price it's worth it
I don't know whether to love it or hate it. I ordered a carne asada regular burrito.1. Meat is cooked weird2. They added lettuce and tomatoes! This makes it taste as a sandwich or a torta. Not a burrito.3. Salsa must be spicy and it's not.
Absolutely love Maria's taco shop my two favorites are the rolled tacos and the carne asada fries its like nachos but on top of french fries you gotta try them they are the bomb ?
They are loosing the touch on the tripas tacos.. over fried tasted like over cooked oil. But the fish tacos on point the cheviche first time trying it I'll ask with no tomatoes sauce next time..
Love the fact that they are open 24 hours, late night snacks and rolled tacos are the best! Service isn't bad except for them not answering the phone sometimes but overall good place to eat
Boyfriend and I got tacos de tripa and asada fries at 2 am and it was delicious! Definitely coming back here, they were really quick on making the food as well. Really appreciative on places like this that run 24/7 and still make good food.
Lady at register was rude when we ordered. We couldn't confirm what was on what burritos without her giving attitude. She didn't read back our order either. Food was good but a under seasoned.
One of the top 3 Mexican food joints in the merced area kinda a three way tie, but prices are fair every option fills you up and you leave satisfied.Plus the restrooms are very clean in the bacK.
Excellent customer service delicious food. Definitely would go back. I am from Florida wish they had one there
This dive will always be my favorite, for their chicken rolled taco's with salsa Verde sauce..... I daydream about it lol
