Food was good wrapped shrimp great egg roll great but the portion of rice was small very expensive to me for 1 full item and 2 appetizers $37 wow anyways i thing ill stick with Houa Khong 2 way better service and portions
Came in when they were busy, waited a while to be seated by the staff .Food was not great.Pork chop was bland, burnt and overcooked. You can taste the burnt lemongrass on the pork chop. The egg was also overcooked. There was no cucumber in the cucumber salad.Thai beef salad was disappointing, beef was overcooked and chewy. I asked for spicy level 7, and it was mild ar best. The beef slice was also bland.Only good thing was the sauce for the salad and the Thai tea.
Excellent pho and roasted duck here. The duck tasted really good, which might be the best one I have even had in US. The Thai tea was great as well. The candy after dinner was really surprising to me. 宏源 is a very authentic brand of Guangdong China. Interesting that they have this. Good for Merced.
Generous portions. The panang salmon was great. The pineapple rice was out of this world. Please change your cleaning products. The smell from the spray wrecked havoc on the magnificent meal coming out of your kitchen.
It's nice to have a new restaurant in town! I've been there once and would definitely go back. The food was excellent, very fresh and hot, with a lot of interesting flavors. My only criticism would be that our dishes didn't come out all at the same time...they were pretty spaced out. We were eating family style (sharing dishes), but if a group were eating entree-style, that would be pretty annoying to have some practically done (or having to wait) while someone else was still waiting to be served.
The broth isn't as good as (1)Bangkok (2) Thai Cuisine 2 and (3)Jades Garden in that order of best:) its close to my home so I ordered for pick up. They didn't give me my daughter's food, asked for side noodle soup, she got dry noodles in a to go box. Tried to call so they could have my daughter broth ready, no one answered. Just got impatient I guess knowing food would be cold by the time I got back to sit with the fam to eat. The people seem nice though.
Great atmosphere and the boba was delicious! Portions are large and very filling. My sticky rice was dry unfortunately so that was a bummer but overall they did a great job
Solid 5 star restaurant. Best in town for Thai food with good serving sizes. At par with Bay Area Thai restaurants. Customer service has been consistently excellent. It’s our goTo place for eating out. I highly recommend thisPlace.
Ordered some Tom yum soup and yellow curry to go. Order was ready within 15 minutes. Not gonna lie, I was not expecting such delicious food! Merced just didn't strike me as a Thai cuisine kinda place.If you're hungover and need a quick cure, I highly recommend this spot! The staff was super nice as well! My only warning would be that the food is prepared very (temperature) hot, practically boiling. It took a long time for the soup to cool down to be able to eat it.
This is my new favorite Asian cuisine restaurant. So far I've only had 5 items from the menu, in 4 visits, but every thing is delicious. Highly recommend.
