Great location, service and yummy food
One of the best places for breakfast I've been to in a really long time!!! Very cozy and the ambience is so beautiful!!! The good was great and the portion was also good. The mixed potatoes were crunchy on the outside and super soft inside! The crab omlette was light and fluffy! Tea was served in a cute teapot and a delicate teacup! The manager Cake ( yes, his nickname is Cake) was super efficient as was our hostess Christen. All in all a wonderful experience and I'm certainly going back there again!
I’ve been here quite a few times and loved it each time. The food here is delicious, I mean the Brunch menu. I have yet to try their lunch options. They only do walk ups at this location so during the weekend it can take up up to an hour and weekdays, you’ll get seated quickly except during the lunch rush. They half indoor and outdoor seating but the area is covered, you’ll see what I mean when you get there. The staff are really nice and attentive, I don’t think I have gone thirsty here when my water keeps getting filled by them.Lastly, there is an insta-worthy flower wall with a unicorn, it is small and there can be a line of people waiting for their turn, so you will have to get a picture with the wall, it is necessary! Lol.
Lovely ambiance and super busy brunch place. The entrées were very flavorful and tasty, portion size were pretty big, we couldn't finish everything we ordered. My favorite was the bibimbap and fried chicken benedict. The presentation of food was pretty amazing and service was prompt. There is a bit of wait time to get a table but the service is fast and the servers are awesome.
I've been a fan of Son and Garden's afternoon teas since their to-go secret garden tea set in the early days of the pandemic. We decided to dine in this time for their Cherry Blossom tea.The dine-in tea is limited to weekdays only at 11am or 1pm and reservations must be made via email at least 48 hours in advance (CC required to hold but will charge onsite). The 3 tier set comes with Tea Forte cherry blossom tea along with 3 finger sandwiches, blueberry scones, and fresh fruit on the bottom tier, Sakura senbei, oribenishiki, chocolate mousse, and macarons on the middle tier, and 2 mochis, sanshoki dango, and a mini cheesecake on the top tier. They also provide jam and clotted cream on the side. They have a lovely eye for presentation, which makes sense since the restaurant itself is very instagrammable. Food wise, this was good but not one of my favorites in comparison to those done in the past. The sandwiches were light on filling in comparison to the bread thickness. Also the mochi and dango had an especially sticky and chewy texture, so finishing with the top tier was a bit of a let down. The highlights for us were definitely the scones and clotted cream, oribenishiki (delicious red bean paste!), and the chocolate mousse.Really hoping they bring back a version of their Lunar New Year tea. It was a unique take on afternoon tea that featured a lot of delicious savory goodies, like pork shumai and shrimp rolls.
It’s great place for impress breakfast! Your girls brunch place or a date ( 3 month and more). Sakura Cappuccino is overhyped but solid. I had Frisco Scramble and it was solid good!
Food is delicious, the finer details on presentation were great and the overall feel of the experience was the best part! We arrived around 9:30 am on Saturday and got one of the last available tables. We were seated outside in a covered structure with overhead heat lamps and flowers hanging down. Service was attentive and courteous. The fried chicken benedict was the best! The fried chicken was beyond delicious; the right balance of crunch, flavor and juicy warm chicken. The fish came with poached eggs, bread at the bottom, spinach and fruit on the side. The potatoes were amazing. Lightly crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth softness on the inside. The beef stew was more beef than stew. Fall off your fork tender meat chunks. The mashed potatoes were addicting, so comforting. It came with mushrooms, poached egg and a slice of bread. The matcha latte is a must order. Very well executed with strong matcha flavor and not too sweet. The Sakura latte was a nice seasonal treat and on the sweeter side. The cups were really cute upside down bear heads. The line steadily grew as we were dining. It definitely pays to come earlier if you don't want to wait later in the day. The lunch menu starts at 11 am though.
Very cute and tasty food. The overall aesthetic of the restaurant is so good. We got the Korean Benedict, morning beef stew, fried french toast, bear belly bacon, and biscuits. The only item thought was just okay was the French toast. Not because it was bad but it was a bit too intense like thought Il'd be at death's door if ate another bite. Taste wise it tastes like funnel cake so not bad. The biscuits with honey butter was super good. Beef in the morning stew was super soft and tender. For drinks we got the In the Forest, cloud 9, and Sakura latte. My favorite was the Sakura latte but the other two were pretty good as well. We preferred the In the Forest to Cloud 9.
Had a wonderful brunch with my girlfriends. Drinks were creative and fun, especially the one with the ice bear!! The food was good too! Stuffed french toast was so delicious. We ended up sharing entrees as everything on menu looked so good! Service was excellent as well! Do advise people to come early and have your whole party with you to avoid delays!
Great atmosphere and service. Amazing cocktails. Food looks incredible and has great presentation. The fried rice as well as the omelette are a little underwhelming taste wise. But definitely would come back to try more food.
