This is an off-the-beaten path local eatery. But there is a nice sign when you turn off from El Camino. They have grab and go chinese if you are in a hurry. I had the House Fried Rice, which is way different from other places. It had shrimp, roast duck and chinese sausage. And then fried in duck fat. Very tasty. Phil is very friendly and knows the regulars. Of course, I came in two days in a row, so that made it easy.As another review said, "Prices are very reasonable by local standards, though I'd hesitate to call them low." This is Menlo Park. Nothing is low. Gas is expensive. Housing is expensive. And the food is understandably higher than . . . . in Ohio.

Unbelievably wonderful find. Great prices and the flavors are on point. I'm loving this place because it reminds me of good quality Chinese fast food and Panda Express doesn't even compare.I've eaten a lot of this kind of Chinese food and Phil's stands out.
This place is top of my list of Chinese food! The owner is very friendly and will take care of special requests, I have an egg allergy. Please try this place you will not be disappointed!
I love the food here now when ordering from here do not go with the chinese style alacart section (already made waiting for you to pick what you want) or maybe I didn't have a taste for what I had ordered... Now the first time I went there it was better no matter what it's a different type of food and you should try it
