Wonderful Evening! The service was perfect, the food delicious and the ability to have a good conversation with moderate noise made for one of the most enjoyable dining experiences in a long time!! Food always reflects the skill and creativity of the chef. Gazpacho, for example, had a hint of vinegar, something I'll do at home, too. Gnocchi are amazingly tender and flavorful - the addition of eggplant puree is genius. Try them!

We had dinner at one of the outdoor tables along the front sidewalk. The tables were completely shaded by the roof overhang and very pleasant. We were dining prior to a Music at Menlo Concert and had a very nice experience at La Stanza. They quickly brought water and soft Italian bread with a tasty tomato dip and replenished the bread after we ate it all. We split a Caprese salad, lamb pasta, and tiramisu, all excellent. The service was attentive and well-paced for a relaxed, but not overly drawn-out dinner. Enthusiastic about this small, lovely restaurant.

This is our tried and trued great iItalian food. The price of dishes have gone up a but only up to average prices of other restaurants. Dishes still delicious, but chocolate mousse a bit sweet. Waiters and service just as good and love that it is easy to make reservations.
We had a very nice pre-theatre dinner on Tuesday. Food and service were excellent and the place was very cozy. I don't normally dine in Menlo Park but I thought I'd come back again. Bathroom was very clean. I thought music could be a bit louder. Parking couldn't be easier! Thank you for the pleasant time :-)
We have been to La Stanza prior to this visit, and wanted to go back and give it a another and have decided not for us food is not worth the wait for $ ithe food is tasteless. Thank you
