Okay...needed a good pizza place rather than the norm after moving to the area. This Giovanni Special was delicious, fresh and just so so good and the antipasto salad was perfect. I can taste the spices and you have our family as a recurrent customer!
Giovanni's has been in town for a long time. the place has always been a good place to eat my family like to get together there
Finally found the best pizza in the area! Pepperoni slice can be eaten fresh, cold, microwaved, and toasted. It's THAT good!!!Meatball sandwich is amazing, Italian flavor super strong! Spaghetti and meatballs was to die for, meat sauce on point! Cheese garlic bread also spectacular. Only reason for 4 stars is I tried the most popular Fettuccini Alfredo and it was super bland but pasta cooked to perfection. Heated the rest up the next morning with proper spices and it was way more tolerable.
Been coming here for about 20 years, always had great food and good service. Well last night we had ordered 2 pizzas, a large veggie and a free cheese that we added pepperoni to. We also got some parmesan, ranch and croutons on the side. Well we all ate the food, which was hot and delicious. But the issue we ran into was that only me and my mom ate the ranch with our pizza, well both her and I got violently ill this morning with food poisoning (vomiting and diarrhea) and that was the only thing in common that we both ate. We called Giovanni's to let them know and just to talk with the manager to see if there's anything they were willing to do. My wife talked Thomas I think to which instead of trying to help just made a whole bunch of excuses, saying that it's our fault and that he'd only refund us if we had our stomach pumped and if the hospital said it was there food. He was extremely rude and disrespectful to long time patrons who were just asking if there was anything they could do, and instead of being compassionate and understanding tried blaming us. We unfortunately will never go there again or recommend this restaurant to anyone ever again. I didn't care about getting sick it was more of how we were treated by the manager. Disgusting behavior.
The food and service were very good! Our waitress was very attentive for sure!
The owner Papa Giovanni, was standing outside the restaurant speaking to customers as they went inside to dine. He said he had just returned from a singing engagement? What a lovely man!The restaurant is small but worth whatever it takes to get inside the door. The best food in town! Heck, it's the best food anywhere!!!The servers are sweet and capable and each one has a special quality about them that makes me want to return.If you haven't yet, order the BBQ ribs...1/2 slab is more than enough! The price is only $14.00 and don't forget the awsome desserts.You're welcome...
First time in tonight. Ordered takeout chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Three stars because the staff was friendly and greeted me right away and service was fast. I wasn’t pleased with the food. It was decent, but the alfredo sauce was sweet, almost like they put a bunch of sugar in it. Wasn’t very good at all. And the portion size was small. I spent just shy of $20 and am still hungry. Still undecided if I’ll go back or not.
