Disgusting menudo. Didn't even taste like menudo possibly even spoiled .ordered through postmates with no Pata. bowl was sent with a huge Pata bone leaving very little soup and broth was super salty! Lime,cilantro and onions were old , not fresh. Hopefully the little taste that I had doesn't make me sick!
If you thought the carne asada fries were good, then you have to try substituting it for shrimp or chicken. AMAZING. These are the closest fries to SD fries (if you know what I'm talking about). Best ones, worth every cent you pay.The cucumber pineapple agua fresca is SOOOO GOOD but very filling as well. Not too sweet, perfect amount of ice and fruit pieces.The margaritas.. ? probably wine-based? But delicious! Don't let the size of the cup fool you.And ask for their spicy salsas, not regular ones, they have them! They're delicious and not too spicy. ?Service is always great here, hardly a wait even if it's lunch time!
This place has outstanding customer service & exceptional quality! You can taste the quality in the ingredients they use. Just be careful not to overeat like i did. Every staff member was kind & attentive. It was a dining experience comparable to a high end sit down restaurant. Very happy with my experience here & this will be my new go to spot for Mexican cuisine! Give Don Mere's a try!
We just moved to Menifee a few months ago and have tried several different Mexican restaurants. Don Meres has great food, fast and friendly service and reasonable prices. We've ordered once per week for the last month and food has been consistently good.

Horrible Mexican food. (asada burrito) Fatty, chewy meat is left there for you to spit out . I wouldn't believe the 5 starts people post. They must be fake. Place was dead empty. Plus I think they use some cheap tortillas for the burrito. Not worth the price. Just get quality meat to fix the problem.
First time, figured I'd order the one item that can't be messed up. Boy was I wrong... Rolled tacos were over priced and over fried. Can't get the taste of burned corn tortilla out of my mouth. Red and green salsa was horrible, no taste or spice. I just moved here from San Diego so I'm coming from a city with amazing Mexican food around every corner. This has been a very difficult transition. Hard to review any higher or Lower based on one bad experience even if I've already made up my mind not to come back.
Embarrassing. My wife and I were trying to find a good Mexican restaurant for her parents out in Menifee so we gave Don Mere's a chance. On top of our order we got a side of chips and guacamole. When you pay close to $10 for a side, you expect enough for 4 people to enjoy it. Not only did they forget the chips, the 2 inch container was only half filled. I called and talked to manager Trijeros to have a civilized conversation about it only to get yelled at and hung up on. Don't waste your time, there are other Mexican restaurants who run a good business and treat you with respect.
We were frequenting this restaurant pretty regularly and today I was so disappointed we may not go back. I ordered a cauliflower chorizo burrito. There was no cauliflower in the burrito when I took that to their attention they told me that there’s no real Chorizo in the burrito. I know that, I ordered this item minus cheese and egg because I’m vegan. But I showed her that there was no cauliflower in the burrito. She told me that the flat leafy vegetable was cauliflower. I told her no that’s cabbage. She said it’s part of the same family and it’s easier to cook with than the cauliflower. That’s baloney
A small restaurant and such a hidden gem. The food is authentic and amazing. The service is friendly and down to earth. I strongly recommend this restaurant for your Mexican cravings!!
