The rude older white lady with blonde hair that closes needs to be trained on customer service. She has absolutely no patience because she is being overworked in the mobile order department. She has no sense of time management or problem solving skills which makes this location a no go for most people I know. Great quality food with no customer service means less customers. If you don't like people then don't work in a service industry. Never in ally years have I seen someone who doesn't want to do their job.
Seems that, like so many other business establishments right now( especially restaurants ) they are underStaffed. But, in spite of being under staffed the team is doing a great job! Excellent service. Quality of food also excellent!
Food was very bland as well as cold. Although the cashier wore gloves I was alarmed that she was working the cash register and also handling our food. Definitely will not go back. Not a good experience!
The Manager Nick and his crew members, Dakodah, Sahara, Micaiah and Javen were superb ? on customer service. We enjoyed this visit to the CafeRio store 124 and will definitely be back for more! All wonderful people! Restaurant had a great positive atmosphere.
Have been going to the location since they opened and have enjoyed it. A month ago we went on a Sunday for lunch and they seemed disorganized and the typical management staff was not there. We received poor quality food and for my wife’s sides were overcharged. Went back today for another chance and had a duplicate with the exception of being overcharged. Portions have shrunk and prices have gone up. Will probably wait awhile and then give this location one more opportunity hoping they can turn it around.
Great customer service BAM!! But the food and prices? Not so good. Guacamole was stale and dark brown, Sauces looked like hey have been left there for days. Me and the wife paid over $30 just for both of us. Definitely not worth the price for what you get. They tax for your every condiment you ask for.
Seriously understaffed. Ran out of flour and corn tortillas and guacamole! Not good for a Mexican fast food place. The few workers there tried their best...Seeing this more and more lately at different places.. Must be Covid related and the problem with the shortage of workers and food supplys.
Today was the 1st time my husband and myself tried Cafe Rio. I wanted to give it a chance as I heard this place was good. I was so disappointed. The area were the food is at was dirty. Food smeared and dropped everywhere. The glass partisian was so dirty pieces of dry old rice along the edge. They had no food prepared. And it was only 4:30 and not many people there. They served us the rice that was left and dry at the bottom of the tray. They had no meat prepared everything was empty. They also put a tray of raw meat next to cooked grilled chicken. She had to reach over the raw meat to cut it up. The workers really didn't want to be there. The two ladies there had attitudes.
I’m giving this Cafe Rio in Menifee a 5 star review mostly because of the host today - Christopher. He knew all of the dishes and their ingredients. He was able to guide me to the right salsa, dressing and main offerings to make my meal vegan. He was friendly and asked the right questions to get the best meal ingredients for you. Although places like these still compete with Chipotle, their prices are similar and they offer larger portions.I do have to agree with another review that the rice was undercooked but everything else had a fresh flavor. The food was filling and they offer a variety of self serve drinks from sodas, teas and fresh aguas.I would go there again because of the service. Thanks Christopher.
Sweet pork to sweet for me. Tortilla soup no flavor, beans lack salt. Worth a try but will not go again.
