Really tasty and fair priced. Very nice staff. Nice seating inside and out.
Coming in from Georgia and a coworker recommended this barbecue place. Very legit, some killer brisket and deutcher kartoffelsalat.
BEST Barbque around for sure. Sunday's Big daddy rib is a must have!!! Service was great, friendly staff very patient with you while you order. Live music on Sunday'sConcord location is just as good
Slow Hand is possibly the best BBQ in the Diablo Valley. The quality is good and the portions are generous, especially considering the price. Another, uh... better known competitor of theirs is apparently resting on its laurels, skimping on portion size. Let's see how long this competitor can get away with that once people find out about Slow Hand.
I ordered the tri-tip sandwich with coleslaw. All I can say is delicious! Meat was very tender and sauce very tasty. $13 spent and I got a really good meal. I almost want to say I got too much meat because I couldn't finish it...
The meat is great. I got a tritip and it was soft. Under no circumstances should you get the mzc and cheese. But they were nice enough to replace it. ( The Mac and cheese uses these spiral pasta noodles which provides a very poor cheese to noodle ratio. I think a typical elbow macaroni noodle allows the cheese to fill the inside and coat the outside. This just has cheese in the outside.)
Ordered 4 ribs with macheese. Server recommended a beer selection that was great. Sat out back, good tunes, just perfect chill. Food, drink and atmosphere 10/10. Staff rates 11. Been there 4-5 times and staff has been consistently nice, smart, efficient and nice.
Great food, lots of beer on tap, live music and fantastic service. Slow hand is the perfect family friendly night out. Don't be fooled by the relatively small indoor portion of the restaurant, there is a large patio out back. A classic local small town spot that has it all figured out. Go there, you won't regret it.
Best dang brisket in California! [fat cuts]Idk if it’s a Cali thing but…is it okay for the cook to add salt to the meat? The brisket is cooked really well: juicy & tender. They could’ve cut off a percentage of the fat before the smoke…felt like a packers cut with no fat chopped down (which makes sense to keep the extra fat if selling by the lb). Please, please, please a little itty bitty amount of salt in the rub or injection! My tongue was teased!Best bbq we’ve had traveling through the state. This place felt like someone came out of the South, headed to Cali, and ended up cooking food that reminded them of home.**3.5 stars & I’m grading hard bc I’m Texan.
Absolutely love this place. The BBQ is delicious and plentiful. The side are a wonderful compliment to the various meat options. I highly recommend the ribs, tri tip and the spicy sausage. And they have local brew on tap. Can’t beat this place!
