Hard to understand the great reviews. The food was mostly disappointing. I ordered a medium rare rib-eye and got a very thin, fatty, gristly piece of over cooked meat. My husband's pasta dish was under seasoned. The salad and sides were fine. Very limited wine list of mediocre wines. The service was fine, but we had a difficult time communicating with our server.

It was a lovely experience, today was my last day of school and I went to this place with my friend. We got there right when it opened and all the food was straight from the oven and stove. 10/10 recommend for a good lunch or dinner
Just ate their last night and had some of the best gnocchi and meat sauce I've had in a long time. I also had the bruschetta and it was good too. I'm looking forward to coming back sometime.

This food wasn’t good. I ordered a Penne dish and the pasta was over cooked, the sauce- a vodka sauce tasted like it came from a can, had no layers and didn’t taste fresh at all.Beautiful restaurant setting but for what the food tastes like, save your money, go to Trader Joe’s, get their jarred sauce and make your own.No where near authentic Italian food.
My wife & I found this nice restaurant on a Sunday night. We came in toward the end of their hours and were still received warmly. After reviewing the menu we had the Spaghetti di Mare and Spaghetti Carbonara. Both dishes were well prepared and served with fresh parmigian. The flavors excellent and the attentive service included multiple smiles. We will return, and we share the knowledge with our family and friends.
The. Est place in Martinez to have a taste of italy. I recommend D mari spagetti and the Cab.
An Italian gem in downtown Martinez. My family and I were pleasantly surprised. The service was awesome, and the food was great. I'd recommend Florence to anyone I know.
