So disappointed with this location, I have been coming here for the past 11 years and I order the same exact thing every time. Today I noticed new staff and noticed they charged me extra for something I have been ordering for the past 11 years, the same exact thing. I understand when prices go up, but this was not the normal charge. And in top of that they were so rude because what seems to be a supervisor and cashier talking in a different language so I could not understand what they were saying. I asked them to please tell me what they were saying so I was aware and able to respond, but I was ignored and no response was given. I speak Spanish and I would never talk to another co-worker in Spanish in front of someone who did not understand when they are taking about your order and a question or concern I had. Very disappointed with their actions and service. NEVER COMING BACK!

*UPDATE* Seems theyve finally started taking credit cards. But they've increased prices pretty dramatically in the last year or two as well. While it's somewhat endearing that Bagel Street only takes cash, it is a hassle sometimes. Yet it's still packed every morning. They do run out of the good bagels occasionally around 10-11am, but everything they make is delicious.

Stayed at the Best Western across the street and loved it so much we had to go there twice. Can’t go wrong with any bagel sandwich here! They now take credit card

30 dollars for 2 bagels. Woooow i could of sat down at a restaurant and had a full course meals for that price and i hope you get there by 9am because they will be sold out of bagels by 930 ripping people off on homemade dough that they pay no taxes on cause you pay all cash

Had to take my mom to to Martinez Kaiser and wanted to grab breakfast after. I remembered there was a bagel place nearby that I ate at many years ago. I looked it up on Google and saw that this is the place. I got a bagel egg & bacon sandwich and picked up bagel & shmear for the rest of the family. It was a bit late for breakfast almost 10am and the variety of bagels were limited. I assume they make some more for the lunch crowd since they make sandwiches and such with the bagels. So I missed out by a little bit. There were plain for my wife & kids and I got a bialy. It was good but I wanted an everything or sesame seed bagel. The food was delicious and I will go back earlier next time to get a bagel I want. Definitely give this small business your patronage. They have been a part of the neighborhood for many years.

A town gem. Consistently good. I always get the bacon, egg and cheese on an onion bagel or an everything bagel if the onion's sold out. I love how the bacon stays crispy. A nice little family bagel shop with hard working people. Sometimes I want to stop here but I don't have cash, so don't forget yours that's all they accept.

Apparently one reviewer thought the door of bagel street cafe is a clear indicator it’s not a place to go. Pretty phenomenal how ridiculous people can be when reviewing a local place.Bagel street cafe is awesome. It’s always out of bagels before it closes which indicates just how good it is. Nice people, friendly service and a local shop that’s been there forever. I’ll suffer the old door for a ballin bagel.

I used to come here every week as a kid and I haven’t lived in the area for 13 years, but I came back to visit my parents and HAD to check in on my favorite cafe!It is EXACTLY how I remember it and has the same neighborhood vibe. The service is fast and friendly and the food is great! I really missed this place! So happy to see it’s still here!

Great staffGood locationFantastic selection

Great spot, with above average food and coffee with reasonable prices.
