It was a great day celebrating my son's 30th the service was great. Thanks Angela (server)
We got a table for dinner on the Whiskey Red's outdoor balcony on Wednesday night and it was terrific. The sun was going down and the sailboats and party boats were drifting past. It was just a fantastic view. The service was great and the food was delicious. I ordered a Mahi Mahi wrap dish it was tasty, fresh, and plenty of it . If you're looking for a dinner with great food, terrific service, and an amazing view of the boats sliding by in Marina del Rey at sundown, this would be the place to go. And I hope your experience is as good as ours was. Bryan
Starting at check-in...no one greeted us with any smile or friendly greeting. Unfortunately, very poor service. Restaurant lacked supplies - no salt & pepper or items to place champagne bucket on so large bucket was on the small table - so confusing ! - another server went to go find some salt because all containers were empty - Tried to have a bloody mary and it was so watered down - no celery , no lemon or even olives - tiny part of the glass with salt - looked like a cocktail from the night before - when we asked the waitress about the drink and it's presentation she seemed confused - Seems like no one working was skilled. Too bad as we were looking forward the a nice brunch.
Beautiful setting with attentive wait staff. Food was not appealing.
Crab legs were terrible. Salmon was dry. Overall disappointed. Wonât come back unless big changes are made.
I rarely write a bad review. First, the service staff was horrible. I waited at my table for 30 minutes before being acknowledged by the waitress. We asked for waters and an app. The appetizer came and was eaten before the waters. I had to ask again for waters from the manager with no apology. Then we ordered food. Waited another very long time for food delivered. Eggâs Benedict came with no ham or English muffinâ¦just egg and hollandaise sauce. Waited a another extended time to be checked on and told the waitress the issue. No apologies just blamed the cook. She did take it off the bill though. Itâs a shame because the atmosphere was very nice but the experience was horrible when it could have been better with better service.
Great food! perfect place for a nice night out while enjoying the beautiful view
Delightful staff, actually put us where I had requested. Typically, this doesn't happen. The server was very nice, and the meal was very good, not great. I'd go back because it has a delightful ambience, and the prices were moderate.
Zach was a great server. We loved sitting out where we could sit under the striped umbrellas and watch the boats go by in the Marina. I enjoyed the salmon with the little gem Caesar salad.
We had 4:30 reservations and were told weâd have to wait when we arrived. While waiting at the bar for an hour we watched at least 10 tables be seated. When we went back up to the desk they said oh we didnât realize you had a reservation, which was interesting because thatâs the first thing he asked us when we arrived. When we were finally taken to a table they seated us next to the most obnoxious table in the entire restaurant. When we asked to be moved the waiter had a bad attitude and I believe was friends with someone that was at the table that was obnoxious, so he then began to treat us like garbage. They were out of the two things that we wanted to order on the menu and when we asked for the check we had to wait another 20 minutes for it. I would not go back here. Great location horrible employees bad service.
