Went here with my family the other day and had a really great time! Our server, as well as all the staff, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We ordered multiple sharing dishes and ended up having six different pastas to try, all cooked perfectly. (My favorite was the carbonara). It was a beautiful day and the restaurant is located right next to the Marina, so we got to watch the sunset.
My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night a few weeks ago. The seating was first come first serve so we had to wait about 30-40 minutes to get a table. This location had more seating than their other locations.I ordered "Vongole," which was homemade tonnarelli in a white clam sauce. I really enjoyed it; it was very simple but tasty with white wine, clams, and garlic. My boyfriend got "Carbonara," homemade tonnarelli with egg & crunchy pork cheeks. I was able to try a few bites of carbonara and I personally found the flavor a bit too rich but I appreciated the crunchines of pork cheeks. My boyfriend described the carbonara dish as creamy, cheesy, and fatty; he enjoyed it.We also tried their tiramisu. It was good as you can taste a lot of the chocolate flavors and it was quite rich. The texture overall felt more like a pudding. I was glad that I finally got a chance to visit here since my boyfriend has been telling me how Uovo is known for their fresh pasta (handmade and delivered from Italy daily) and it definitely did not disappoint. ???
I’ve never had such a positive experience at a restaurant from the time we were greeted from the host to taking our last few dessert bites and saying our goodbyes to the amazing staff.This was an experience my mom and I will never forget with the best view of The Marina, to the kind waiters and waitresses and of course amazing plates! Perfect portions for all taste testing dishes, appetizers and yummy tiramisu. Please bring a friend or anyone so special to you. Great job team staff!
The food is generally good there over all, but I have to say the tasting truffle menu isn't worth it. Three pasta dishes are too repetitive, nothing stands out, and there is only one dish with a faint truffle flavor. If you're a truffle lover, you'd be definitely disappointed. Tasting menu should cover a range of variety of things, but instead two out of three pasta dishes are exactly the same, except different sauces, one of the dishes had almost the same white sauce as the truffle flavored one without truffle flavor. I'd go back there to try other dishes.

First of all, the location is quite nice and the employees were kind. However, there’s nothing special about this Italian restaurant that makes it worth recommending. The food is OK, but does not look or taste like it was made with any love. My father ordered the lasagna and to be honest, it looked very boring on the plate. It also tasted very standard. There was also no parmesan cheese, salt or pepper offered on the table or offered by the wait staff. We had to ask for all of those ourselves.
Great new spot in Marina Del Rey, amazing view, excellent in house made pasta, super good service and a great tiramisu! Beef tartare is amazing but it comes with no bread or crackers, this restaurant doesn’t have bread of any kind. They concentrate on the pastas and they are truly amazing.
An amazing dinner. Service was outstanding. The location is gorgeous. And the food was amazing. Finished with the best tiramisu in the world - yes a big statement. But I've had a lot, all over Italy and this is outstanding.
Food was incredible! We ordered a tasting where they give you 3 types of pasta throughout the meal. What amazes me is one of them was only 4 ingredients - pasta, aged parmesan salt, pepper- it sounds simple, but it's so flavorful.Also, the tirimisu was beautiful.
We had a party of 12 and we’re worried we wouldn’t be seated together or even be accommodated. We were greeted by several servers and seated after a short wait.The service was excellent -5 star treatment- and the food was definitely the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten! I am Italian and absolutely know what good Italian food should taste like! I could eat it every day and never cook Italian again and be delighted!
