Been going here since the the late 80's and I've never been let down. If you order fries make sure you ask for the seasoning salt shaker to season your own fries ✌️
There is a link on google maps to order online with square.site. It states pickup is available within one hour. When I tried to order, the pick up defaulted to Monday (its currently Friday). I went to the place and guy on counter tells me they don't take online orders. Please remove square.site option if you don't take online orders!
Food was amazing! I got the chili cheese burger and it was perfect! Also their fries are so well seasoned and crispy! I also got an agua de melon and it tasted so fresh!
I'm moving away after many years in this neighborhood, and honestly the one thing I'll very truly miss is the fish tacos from Tommy's. Their French fries are also the bomb. Love their fluffy French toast or egg and cheese burrito for breakfast. I recently tried their new hot fresh ground Colombian coffee, and it was amazing. But the reason I go there is the fish tacos. They are spectacular. Fried fish with slaw and salsa on soft corn tortillas and a squeeze of lime, super fresh and nice with a large cantaloupe juice. Thank's Tommy's, you'll be my first stop whenever I pass back thru town. It's a local establishment, not a fancy place, come in flip flops, very inexpensive, a welcome treat to get such tasty food that's affordable, being just a block away from the beach. Mostly a breakfast/lunch place, but we eat supper here, too.
I had the Shrimp and French fries plate. The best part was the tomatoes on the salad. The fries were seasoned great and were tasty but just a little greasy for my taste buds. The Fried shrimp was extremely oily and to much batter. The crunch of the shrimp was perfect. My Spouse enjoyed the Chill Cheese Burger and loved the fries. Thanks
Being eating this food since a little boy when they were located on Lincoln and Rose. Same great taste even with the minor changes.
My order didn't match the picture, but dang, THEY KNOW HOW TO DEEP FRY A FISH! Yum yum yum!
Great place, good food, great prices, quick cooks, mellow environment, empty dining room, family oriented for dine in,, comfy place and convenient location for beach front area. just 1 block west of Venice fishing pier. you'll like the food and convenience. ??
There used to be a Thomas on rose and Lincoln that was closed down and that was my go to. I remember going there since i was a child, after it was shut down my family and I started going to this Thomas and food has always been a classic. You can never go wrong with Thomas!
I highly recommend the ouble Chilli cheese burger (#2). Especially if you're doing a burger tour around here. Must have.Not too Sloppy but amazingly melted and flavored.Left me with a happy tummy.
