Really great dumps, noods, crispy calamari rings, Thai iced coffee and very nice folks inside or on porch.
Hands down the best Thai food we ever ate! It beats other places we have tried by far!! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, best customer service. They put smiles on our faces and filled up our bellies!!??? Phenomenal prices for the quality of food!! Cant wait to come back for more!!????? The thai iced coffee was epic!!
Wish I had photos to share, but this was delivery to The Jamaica Bay Inn. food was delivered in a timely manner, the Phad Thai was super tasty, as was the pineapple fried rice. I mean, really tasty. Give them a go!
We were walking from our hotel to the beach and we saw a Thai-restaurant on the top-floor of a building. Because we always feel sympathy for Asian businesses we decided to support this restaurant. When we arrived at 1415 hrs the shorthaired waitress told us they were closing at 1500 hrs. No problem for us because we just wanted a fast snack to fill our stomach so we could come back in the evening for a more extensive meal. We ordered a Pho with beef, it’s a Vietnamese dish but it’s a neighboring country and we all know it’s all about the broth what makes the noodles tasty. My partner took a special lunch-soup with tofu, a small dish to satisfy the needs. The Pho was made hasty and didn’t have any taste at all just like my partner’s very small soup. We finished our meal at 1450 hrs and paid our bill. I wanted to use the restroom to wash my hands but it was very dirty. I don’t want to be a difficult person so I just let it go and wanted to leave the restaurant. When I passed the waitress she asked me if everything was ok because I didn’t tip her the suggested 15%. I thought the minimum of 10% would be ok and I gave her 12% but she gave me the feeling I was robbing her in a very unpleasant way. I cannot stand rudeness so I gave her a buck and decided to never return to this unfriendly and greedy restaurant and very unprofessional staff. I suggest everyone to pass this food-place and leave your money at other restaurants around Marina Del Rey. These people forgot where they come from and don’t know how to be kind and respectful to paying customers. Don’t go there!
Didn't get a chance to taste the food. Door says closes at 9 pm, walked in at 8:45 pm. I asked the cook if they were still open and he said yes, lady behind the register said no as she was counting her register. Guess she had a hot date tonight or something.
I am incredibly disappointed I ordered fried rice with beef and it came with four pieces of beef. I ordered the red curry and it came with all bamboo and only a few pieces of chicken. I feel bamboozled. The steamed rice was wet and overcooked. We ordered calamari as well and it was literally all batter with only seven pieces of calamari. With these prices that we’re paying I should expect at least some kind of decent portion of protein but this was not the case.
Delicious curries. Nice patio atmosphere. Very nice and friendly staff. Definitely will be returning!
The mango sticky rice very good,disappointed in rainbow wrap only had two very tiny pieces of avocado!
AMAZING and made to order. Seriously folks, they make everything from scratch ! Seafood pad Thai is out of this world. VEGAN FRIENDLY. Fresh ingredients and amazing prices. The owner used to have a Vegan restaurant so he knows plant based. The meats and seafood has great flavors - great Thai flavors for anyone who has been to Thai Land. and The staff is really friendly and really knowledgeable about the food. Also love the Sake and drinks!
This place is great. Super authentic and delicious pad Thai (I've been to Thailand), and it came out in 3 minutes after I ordered! They're nice, the vibe is bright and vibrant, and the prices are fair. Very happy they are here
