Very charming atmosphere, very authentic to Japan with the requirement to remove your shoes and sit on the ground. Luckily there are cut outs below the table so your feet can hang down as most Americans aren’t accustomed to sitting on the floor. The food was excellent, we ordered way too much. One of the rolls was overwhelmed with a truffle oil - it was the only dish we didn’t like.Recommend getting a reservation if you plan to come at normal dinner hours.

Irori is a fine Japanese restaurant and sushi bar hiding behind an unassuming, generic shopping center facade. Many of the staff here were speaking Japanese, and diners are required to remove their shoes before entering the dining room, where traditional floor seating is standard. Disposable socks are available for those who commit the faux-pas of entering in sandals or similar ;>). I had the Omakase menu and everything presented was impeccably fresh and delicious. A small but well curated sake list is available as well. Better translations of the sake descriptions would help here, but it is still a well-chosen offering. Worth a detour.

I always loved this sushi place and I wish we would have it here in Germany. The food is always fresh and yummy and the waiters are always friendly and welcoming.

From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but we went inside and were so glad we did! Absolutely delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff! Some unique sushi offerings and lots of ambiance. You sit on the floor, but it doesn’t feel like floor sitting as the floor under the table is indented/recessed so your feet fit comfortably straight down. There are also flat chairs available to offer back support, which my husband and I took advantage of but our daughter did not. Just really loved everything about this place. Definitely would recommend a reservation as well as coming prepared to take off your shoes. If you don’t have socks on, you will be asked to wear disposable stocking footies on your feet. I look forward to returning soon. A great place to go to have a unique restaurant experience and enjoy a welcoming environment with fantastic food!

Food and service is amazing!!

brilliant place! exceptional service, great quality fish. i really appreciated the menu with pictures of most dishes especially sushi. it's a nice touch, most sushi places just have their fish listed with no description and i often confuse different tuna cuts and mackerel varieties, but not this time. awesome chef selection options and rolls. love!

Irori Sushi is a whole vibe. I would venture to say this place rivals all LA sushi restaurants. It’s a great date place but remember to wear socks because you do have to take your shoes off at the door. The seats are sunken so your legs go under the table. You might want to sit at the bar if you have trouble getting up from seated positions on the ground. The sushi is spectacular. The service is efficient and the staff knowledgeable. Our always order is the Salmon Blue Crab without the truffle for us.We also love the Ginza roll if you like a little kick.

They make you take your shoes off. You sit on the floor. The experience is unique. It’s definitely a 3 dollar sign place. Food was bomb. Good for date nights or those looking for a unique experience. Will come back.

Divine sushi and authentic atmosphere. Must try the salmon and blue crab roll

Good food , good place . Make sure to make reservation.
