The food is fantastic. But the service unfortunately leaves much to be desired. As an die-hard foodie, I picked this place to venture to before the busy hours. I waited quite sometime before asked for my drink order, so at that point I knew what I was eating. The only time I saw my waitress was when I gave my order. Someone else brought the food and no one checked in after that. I waited roughly 15 minutes after finishing before I asked for a to-go box. Ironically my table is where most of the waiters pass by so at any point, the customary thing to do would be to briefly ask if I needed anything. They have plenty of staff for this small establishment. No one apologized for the delays. They pretended not to notice but I know they saw me patiently looking at them and hoping for someone to come by. This was so disappointing after reading the reviews… I did notice that many recent reviews also note the long wait times and poor customer service. If this establishment has not sought to correct this, leaves me thinking it’s also poor management. Nevertheless, the food is tasty but not worth the price (also noted in other reviews). They charge quite a bit for any changes to your meals.
Great food and great service when we ordered French toast and waffles. The nutella cappuccino latte was great too. We came back the next day and had smoked salmon Benedict and the salmon was spoiled. They brought chicken to replace the salmon and still couldn't eat it. It just tasted awful. They still charged me the whole 19.99 price for the bad food. The potatoes were great, but I'm sorry, I don't want to pay 19.99 for potatoes. Be careful what you order here
We came here before our flight and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great for a brunch. It was just the vibe we needed before our flight. Everything was delicious! The staff was very friendly.
Delicious. Very busy.I ordered Banana Stuffed French toast. Almost all of their french toast options are on sourdough bread, which I like, but it definitely brings a more tarte/savory flavor. It was stuffed with a cream cheese 'frosting' which was also more sour and savory. Also, it is called 'stuffed' but it is a sandwich. Two pieces of toast with cream cheese and banana inside. It was good and interesting, but I prefer sweeter dishes so I will choose something else next time. The Bru's toast substituted with their waffle was absolutely delicious.
Came to Bru's for the first time for an early mother's day. The vibe was super welcoming, playing good music in the background and the staff was so friendly. I got the coconut latte, which was fine but I felt it could have had a stronger coconut flavor considering coconut syrup was used for it. To eat I got breakfast mulitas which is a carb focused breakfast with 4 tortillas and tortilla chips. The chips were nice and crispy and crunchy, just how I like them. The mulitas was filled with cheese, turkey sausage, bacon and egg. The meal was good. I wish beans were a part of the meal, I requested some for the side. My husband enjoyed the cheese stuffed hasbrowns but stated they could have been served hotter as they came out just warm. The Golden goat was a chicken and waffle combo with honey and goat cheese. The waffle was really good, the chicken he stated could have used a bit more seasoning. The goat cheese added a nice tang. We did have to wait a bit for hot sauce. To end our meal I the free mini churro waffle. Which truly was mini! But the perfect little end to the meal. Bru's knows how to make a yummy waffle!
Opted for the very tasty blueberry waffle as, unfortunately, they had run out of granola. Encountered the largest coffee cups during my trip to LA which the helpful staff were only too keen to replenish. Again, reasonably priced fare.
Service was great.Got the green salsa chicken and waffles and wasn't the best chicken and waffles I've had. Chicken was a tad dry, so get additional salsa and the actual green salsa it came with was ok. Waffle was good.
Food is great! One should definitely dine-in. Most of the menu isn't ideal for takeout. We couldn't help but notice how well our waitress was cleaning around in the restaurant. I'd bet the kitchen is held to the same standard. I have to return to try their great menu!
I'm a true brunch enthusiast and love the variety of french toast and chicken and waffle combinations here. ? The waffles have a perfect, slightly crisp texture!
They have an outdoor space in the back. Soju Bloody Mary was nice and spicy. The open face omelette was good but a little bland imo. Blueberry waffle was so good though. Not too sweet. They have like 100 mimosas of which I’d like to have one next time
