This place is great! The staff is super nice, both at the bars, food servers and security! Plenty of bar bites to choose from (good quality considering it's a bar) and a variety of drink options (liquor, beer, wine, sodas etc) all at a reasonable price. The turtle race on Thursday is a lot of fun with the betting proceeds going to charity. Spinning the wheel for gag prizes (ie: free pizza, t-shirt etc) is a blast. Only downside is parking can be tough if you arrive past 7 pm. Regardless, i recommend dropping by. I'll be back real soon!
An awesome bar with a great atmosphere.HIGHLY recommend catching the turtle races but get there early to get a good seat..And remember not to point!
Came on a Friday evening and it was really chill. Tons of open space both indoors and outdoors. Pretty solid pizza. Good vibes. Free water dispensers. Big parking lot.
Went for turtle races and had to wait in line for 20+ min. Not worth it. The place was empty inside but yet were only letting a couple people inside at a time to not “overwhelm” the bar and kitchen. If a place that big can’t accommodate for the guest size they can hold, that’s a problem. I didn’t even go to eat or drink! Instead of being able to spend the 30 min inside with friends I was waiting in a stupid line and could barely see the title races inside. Not worth it
Great outdoor spaces, excellent house old fashioned although I thought $12 for premixed (but individually garnished) could have been a little cheaper even if a good pour. Friendly staff, good setup for handling a drink line
Turtle racing. Sounds odd right? Well it is, but god damn is it fun. The atmosphere during a race is something else. People cheering both for the turtles and the people who are caught pointing. Its great fun. Beer selection is good and the bartenders know their mixing very well. Prices are reasonable. (Ask for easy ice on the Margarita pitchers) and food is good, i only wish the pizzas were a little bigger. Make sure to keep track of your order or else you might not get your food in a reasonabke time frame but if there is a hiccup (which i've heard happens more than usual), the staff is more than accomodating. All around great place. If you want a decent spot for turtle racing make sure to get there at 7pm the latest
Great place to hangout, especially with the abundance of outdoor space. Beer selection is a bit small, but it makes up with the liquor selection and cocktails. The food is definitely on the better end for bar food. Decent place to watch games.
Come one, come all. A chill place to hang out in a crowd of everyone. Probably the most outdoor space in LA to hang outdoors COVID-safe. Good food, too.
Literally one of the best burgers ive ever had in my entire life. The mojito was also nice and strong, which was a nice surprise given that mojitos are usually pretty light on the booze. I waited a little while when I first arrived without being served, and without my even saying anything about it (because it really wasnt a big deal), they didn't charge me for my mojito, presumably to make up for the wait. My first time here and I loved it. I hear it gets really busy on big nights, I will be back to check it out.
The place was weird. And over priced. I paid $50.00 for a small grilled chicken Sandwich fries and a pitcher of Beer.
