We used to eat here years ago. This place has gone downhill. We went on a Sunday afternoon. It was not super busy. Seated relatively quickly but sat there a long while before the server came by. Never offered any chips and salsa, food was bland, nachos had hardly any chips in them, fish n chips appetizer was overcooked and my taquitos came out ten minutes after we were served everything else. Server didn't check on us at all and I had to wave at her to get a side of sour cream. The service was bad for it being not busy. Done with this place.
A key indicator should have been the manager pointing at the table without offering napkins or silverware. Our food was TOO SALTY and took over 40 minutes to come out, when the restaurant was relatively empty. Our glasses were never re filled and they messed up part of our order. It also looks like they need to change their fryer oil.. We were done, we didn't want any corrections, we just wanted to get out if there. Major disappointment.
Margaritas were straight up syrup. Charged extra for top shelf tequila but added cheapest tequila in front of me. Had to call them out. Food was garbage too. Literally punches of salt in fajitas. Absolute discouragement. Embarrassing to be called a Mexican cantina. Least likely to visit this spot. Ruined the vibe
It is unfortunate to write this review, but our most recent experience was bad… My wife and I went to enjoy a date night and kindly asked for 1 extra salsa with our chips while we waited for our food... The response we got back was that was they can't do that because 1 extra salsa is not allowed at the table... We never had this issue before on prior visits at this establishment. It was disheartening to take my pregnant wife out for a nice dinner of her craving, only to be pushed away and have to find somewhere else to go because 1 extra request of salsa was too much to ask for by the customer. This situation could have been avoided and was one I NEVER experienced at a restaurant. Wish our experience here was better or as good as service we received there before…
We came in for lunch while I was waiting on car maintenance. The hostess was also our bartender/waitress. They must be short handed as she had to work the bar, the booths and also the tables. We had the bacon wrapped peppers, quesadilla and wings appetizer (tres amigos) $11.75, long island $10.25, coke $3, carnitas quesadilla $9.75, carnitas taco salad $12.75. Everything taste good. I recommend sitting at the bar as they have a lot of TV's there.
The 2 stars are earned by the friendly customer service. Otherwise I would pretty much give one star for everything I ate, except the chips, salsa and guacamole, those were okay. Everything is greasy and completely overdone with cheese. I don't know about any of the main courses, we had three appetizers and they were horrible, as well as the flan, which is not a flan should be. I don't know what it is. Something not from this Earth...
Great food and atmosphere
Fast service and good food. The menu is HUGE and they have every dish you can think of. Thursday if course they offer discounted tacos. And everyday breakfast is served until noon.
This place is sooo good! Great food and good service! We drive 45 minutes to come and eat here. I'm really picky about Mexican food. The rice is delicious, the texture and flavor is really good, not to mention the beans. The hard tacos have really good flavor, the toortilla is perfectly crispy and they don't get soggy and fall apart. ? My husband had the camarones endiablados and he said they were really good, the sauce had good flavor and not to hot. The French fries look homemade and taste good. The bacon wrapped jalapeños, desserts and guacamole are also good.
On the run we didn't order too much. Tortas, appetizers but the food was good. Very busy place with a bar. Like ever business they were short staffed. Hope that improves.
