I was not too sure about trying this place out but decided to try it since it was so close to my office and it didn’t disappoint. Quick service, good drinks( we got mangonada shooters) , fresh chips and food was great( Tres Favoritos with camarones salvajes)!! We will definitely come back again and often for lunch.
Manteca is the midway for my family to meet. So, we always meet at El Jardin for lunch. Best Mexican food ever. Very authentic. Portions are large. We always end up taking a to go box. Should probably split a meal. But so good not bad having left overs for later. Highly recommend this restaurant.
My all time favorite place. Food is always delicious, staff friendly. You may experience a wait but trust its worth it.

My friend and I went there today the food was good the service was another story.Our waitress brought us our food and then we did not speak to her again after that until we were just about ready to leave when another waiter dropped a glass and broke it right next to our table got sticky all over our freshly manicured feet did not offer us a towel or anything. I asked for something to wipe our legs,feetArm's with to get the sticky off and they gave me dry napkins very disappointed in the service .
My family and I have been enjoying El Jardin for a decade now. Consistency is one word that stands out when I think of El Jardin, from to great food to the service. Never a bad experience for us and hands-down, this is my first choice when dining out.
I went to this place Thursday night 2-17-22 I ordered chimichanga meal with beans and rice and quesadilla meal with beans and rice. The food was flavorless it tasted horrible I couldn’t finish it the food ain’t real Mexican food it’s white people flavoring. The service was horrible the waiter took 15 minutes just to get our order then took another 20 just getting the bill cause he was talking to family that was at the table then told me they are more important then you and walked off came back several minutes later to give my bill. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
We called in our order. We were told 15-20 minutes. It took 50 minutes to get our order. When we got home our order was wrong! The service is horrible but the food is very good!
I ordered Chilli Colorado, bacon wrapped shrimp, and a chicken chimichangas supreme via door dash. It was $70.00! The food was awful! The shrimp was tasteless and came with a guacamole dipping sauce that was brown and not edible. The chilli Colorado was spilled all inside the bag and was not even cut up! The chimichangas had brown guacamole and had absolutely no taste. REALLY AWFUL!
I have never eaten in the restaurant, however I've ordered DoorDash from them several times. Last night I ordered dinner from them ($75) but received the wrong order when my food arrived. I contacted DoorDash and between them and El Jardin; I received my original order within 30 minutes. I just want to say thank you for doing that!! Their food is delicious and well packaged. I also do not feel that my food was tampered with either. ❣ You can not go wrong with their Chile Verde. It's tender and the sauce is delicious!! And the chocolate lava cake was amazing!! Thank you again El Jardin!! I appreciate your prompt handling of my order complication. ?
