The staff is what really makes me come back here every time! Amazing restaurant! Friendly staff and service. The food is exceptional and delectable! I can honestly say they have the best tenders I have ever had! Most importantly, The manager Mack is awesome and he is always committed to providing excellent service to his customers! He has definitely gained me as a life long customer. I always have a pleasant experience every time he is there. I highly recommend this place! You will not regret coming here. Nice place to come with friends and family.
Yes, it’s a chain, but WOW. This restaurant is spacious, clean, airy and welcoming. Casual, but with many upscale menu options. Beautifully prepared. Absolutely delicious. The portion of grilled steak was exceedingly generous, it was cooked perfectly, broccolini was an option as a side (!) and with mashed potatoes, it was probably enough for two. For about $20! OMG. The atmosphere, the comfort, the huge selection, the options to tailor your meal to your precise preferences, friendly service … I’m a local. If I were visiting the area, this restaurant would be Heaven. Since I live around here, it’s just an option I will definitely visit more often. People talk about The Kettle as a local dining destination, but this was much more to our liking, AND, ironically, I think it’s less expensive than The Kettle. Much easier parking, too. Please don’t be dissuaded by anything superficial. We went on a weeknight, and it was so peaceful and relaxing. We sat outside near the fireplace/pit.
I brought a pickup order from Ubereat for Ahi salad. The order was done within 10 mins. I requested to eat in. The environment is clean and nice. I wish the bread is warmer or fresh toast. There aren’t too many choice for dressing.
I was very disappointed. Normally visit the Torrance location. Food was not up to what we usually expect. My tiny portion of steak had no sauce and was extremely dry. My sides tasted old. I hope we just caught this store on an off day. There are way too many really good restaurants nearby. If this was my first visit to the franchise- I’d be in no hurry to return.
Loved the food, no regrets lol as it was healthy and delicious ? also the prices were reasonably well.. and they have desertss !! ? ? It was my first encounter at this location and needless to say I Will Be Back ????
I like the food. But they took a couple of my favorite items off the menu which is disappointing. Also they continue to use paper straws when there are plant-based options that are much nicer. Hoping they will switch to the plant-based plastic like straws that are biodegradable, soon.
My overall experience has been ok. I've had things missing in my order, which is not the biggest deal. I decided to do a review because the African American female I had an interaction with today was unpleasant. The General manager with the salt and pepper hair is always pleasant and even smiled at me today despite her directing him to "go ahead and box those for me" in the same tone I experienced
Wonderful staff (Jonathan is awesome)! A lovely surprise today on Mother’s Day - a red rose and dark chocolate pudding. Healthy food at reasonable prices. Plate Pass is an amazing deal!
The food was wonderful. I had the Beef Mushroom Bowl. Very satisfying and fed me for 2 meals.The only thing I didn't like was they only had natural sodas. I'd rather have Dr Pepper. So I had water.I really appreciated that take home containers were compostable. I think the drink cups were too.
A friend recommended Urban Plates, so I tried it and it did not disappoint. I had the grass fed steak plate with chimichurri sauce and it was delicious. I've had Urban plates 3 times in the last 4 days....highly recommended. I tried both dine in and door dash and both were equally as good
